Contrary to what these numbers appear to be at first look, there is actually some movement for Newt, about 5 points, and, considering the polls were taken in the 3-day period when the MSM, the conservative media, the talk show hosts were crowning and proclaiming Romney the nominee, that is not too bad...

A lot of us have been praying for Newt, and some of us, myself included, have set as the next newt goal in our hearts, getting to 30%... the average of these polls is about 23%, we are getting there. IF he can pull out DE or NC he will be at 30%! Day by day, one step at a time. Next stop - 30%

30 on fire

This has a good roundup of all the following polls:

Which poll do ya believe? Gallup has Romney ahead of Obama, who does have personal charm, but his politics are deadly.

Any poll that has Paul at 18% of the electorate is crack.

Likeability? This is like a charm contest between a liver fluke and a heartworm.

Likeability - how in the world does Obama score on likeability? His nastiness shows in his face, his snottiness is there in every remark he makes. There is nothing likeable about him.

Totally INVENTED horse crap...No one and I mean absolutely no one can have this many negatives and have so many people skip past their pain to say that he is better. No one is that dumb. This is purposeful CNN invention. They are NOT to be trusted, nor NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC (specially)and most others. This kind of push polling will continue throughout the campaign of distortion and lies.

There is NO GENDER GAP. And I will repeat that often.
The so-called deficit among women voters comes from one source -- the fact that 95% of black voters, half of whom are women, are voting for Obama. And that skews the overall number.

You can target all women, but the women you need to get aren't "gettable".

You could just as easily say that it's the poor putting Obama over the top. Last survey I saw, Obama and Romney (didn't see a generic GOP candidate) were split pretty evenly at all income levels EXCEPT below $50,000, where Obama has an edge, but not as big of an edge as he had over McCain in 2008.

Let them continue to say this stuff. Question: Why would anyone believe this pole (as in means of pole vaulting Obama) over a Rasmussen Obama down 5 among likely voters or even Gallup poll Obama down 5 with registered voters but he fell 3 points just since Monday? Look it up.
