True story -- a Marine who fought in Vietnam, in some of the worst fighting of the war, wrote a manuscript about his experience during those fierce battles. The author was candid in his use of swearing, as this was the way the troops actually talked in 'Nam. The manuscript was a flop; not a single publisher expressed interest.
The retired Marine became a Christian a few years later and was convicted, while talking with fellow Christians, that the swearing in his MS, mostly f-bombs, G-Ds, and "Jesus Christ" as an exclamatory, did not honor God as per 1 Samuel, even if accurate. He spent months excising all the curse words out of his MS, not an easy thing to do.
He resubmitted the MS to a handful of publishers and, guess what? Lo and behold, one of the editors who had previously turned down the book ended up loving it. She wasn't a Christian and didn't even recall the initial rejection. The book went on to become a sensation, selling hundreds of thousands of copies and being known as an honest yet brutal depiction of the horrors, and the honor, or being a Marine in Vietnam. The book is "Guns Up" by Johnnie Clark.
Clark, in a footnote to the published book, explained that he attributed the improved fortunes solely to his decision to honor God by removing all the swearing.

The notion that the Talmud is hateful toward Christianity is an idea being promoted by David Duke and his ilk, those trying to prove that Israel is Christianity's enemy.
This is pretty much contrary to the view of evangelical Christianity (which I consider myself a part of), which is a tremendous friend of Israel. There seems to be no good reason to foster discord between Christians and Jews since we share so much. In my community, many of our Christians put on or attend seders at the time of Passover, and we have many converted Jews in our congregation.
Don't confuse the Talmud with the Jewish holy book, the Torah and the other books of the prophets, known in total as the Old Testament. There is zero hatred of Jesus in those books.

I was just curious. Of course, my view as well is akin to yours. Growing up in church, I have been exposed to nothing but the love of Israel. To this day my thoughts, as well as my church, are one in the same. Even though we may concentrate on the New Testament, we always tie the New Testament back to the Old Testament. You really can’t know one without the other.
Ole Johnny boy is a nice little Jewish boy raised to despise Christians. The ravishing hatred is not as crude in Bloomers, but this hatred of Christians runs deep in his gut as well. When he banned Christians from 911 cermonies and then targeted them to be kicked out of public buildings, you know he’s on a hate rampage in the way rich and powerful bigots rampage.
Christians are the only people a good Jewish rich socialist guy can hate and violate. They come out in the open when socialists are in power. Otherwise, they work behind the scenes debasing, undermining and harming Christians and their supporters in power as best they can.
I did not say ALL JEWISH pepole are bigots against Christians. I am addressing the bigots. This is another problem Americans have to address in the diversity of hate on the left.
