(CBS News) House Speaker John Boehner thinks President Obama has "checked out" of the legislative process, but he told "CBS This Morning" co-host Charlie Rose that he remains ready to work with the president.
The speaker, who grew up in a large family that owned a bar, said he learned everything he needed to know for his current role from his childhood. Along with mopping floors, washing dishes and tending bar, he said, that meant "learning to deal with every character who walks through the door."

meanwhile, we're all discussing not voting for the Republican nominee if it's Romney. Don't blame Boehner for facilitating anything.

You mean, we’re discussing not voting for the liberal Democrat posing as a Republican—if it’s Romney.

Both choices are an utter mess this year.
It is, succinctly, the choice between getting terminal cancer, or taking a .40 caliber slug to the forehead.
I understand those who would choose cancer, however, I personally have the luxury of voting my conscious, since I live in Georgia -- a guaranteed Republican electoral state. Not everyone has that luxury, and I understand those who would choose the cancer.

"The American people expect us to find enough common ground to move the ball down the field to address America's challenges...What we have here, is a failure to communicate. After the literal collective shout on Nov 02, 2010, it is quite obvious that virtually all of these a**holes have gone deaf.
We don't need you to 'deal' with us as you did with drunks. We're not the ones that need to be "mopped up after" you fool! You need to mop up and clean house!!
OMG! EPIC FAIL!!

He is what he is but he isn’t Obama and if you can’t vote for him, you can’t blame Boehner when he gets reelected. see my tag line.

Yeh Tammy Faye learned that life is a lot easier when you have a cushy job as a US rep with a $174,000 salary for doing nothing plus all the lobbyist money you can manage to suck up.

Interesting tagline ...
1) Some of us haven’t had the opportunity to vote yet.
2) Some of us were presented with a ballot that did not contain Newt’s name.
Jus’ sayin’ ...
