Thanks, much!! I’m going to try and enlarge it...my bad eyes...and change the color of “Romeny” - it’s fading into the background somewhat. (May just be my printer :) This is great.

I find fascinating the Romneybots and their constant refrain......but but but he was a governor of a liberal state he had to govern as a liberal.
Why the hell do you think he ran in the first place because he was a liberal that’s why. He could not have even come close to winning a moderate or conservative state.
Romney did NOTHING to advance conservatism in his state, he did advance liberalism because that is who he is.
Let’s accept the premiss that Romney is a conservative just trying to get by in a liberal state, so had to govern that way - why on earth would you want a man for president who can not lead, who cowers behind his desk for fear people might find out he is conservative so governs as a liberal.. ..
No way no how will I stand before my God and say I voted for a man who promoted, by word and deed, cheap abortions and homosexuality.

Instead of pimping a sure-fired loser

Have I advocated a candidate?

I observed (on my original post) that Ron Paul was looking better by comparison, but I presume that you are accusing me of endorsing Mittens?

I would be delighted to join the rest of us and try and defeat the enemy to conservatism, Mitt Romney (sic). So why don't you enlighten me, and tell me how to assure the victory of a sincere conservative ?

Otherwise, my points were factual, and meant to augment those provided by Jim's original post. To say there is NO difference, when there are clear differences, is to prevaricate. Conservatives win with the TRUTH, not the twisted, half-truth, misrepresentations favored by Godless socialists. Tell the whole truth, and let those of us with God given conscience decide which points affect our decision.

And please, please please stop putting words I did not say into my mouth. If your arguments are sound, and you are the servant of Christ I hope you to be, you do not need to embellish my post to 'win'.

Romeny is better than obama in one category, so if romney is the nominee i will vote for him.
with romney, nothing will change in the government, but we will at least have another election in 2016. if o is re-elected, this will be our last election, if we even get one this time.

Good for you.

When my children are suffering under the draconian policies of the second Obama Administration, no way no how will I look them in the eyes and say, "Don't blame me! I wrote in Sarah Palin!"

How many deal killers can one candidate possibly assemble? I wish I could vote against Romney more than twice (Primary, General)!

Just wash your hands of it, Pontius, and pretend that your inaction has no consequences.

Yes, there is an excuse for it. Newt is a strong Reagan conservative with many, many conservative accomplishments, even revolutionary conservative accomplishments under his belt, but for whatever reason ran astray a few times. But he’s always snapped right back because he deeply believes in our founding principles and aggressively defends our constitution, believes in enumerated powers, separation of powers, the tenth amendment, the Bill of Rights, our individual sovereignty, our nation, and our God-given inalienable rights.

Romney is NO conservative, never has been, never will be. Has NO conservative accomplishments whatsoever and never will have. All of his accomplishments are liberal, progressive, statist, even fascist. His crowning achievement (RomneyCare) is an unconstitutional, anti-liberty, statist/fascist compulsory health insurance program (see Ronald Reagan on the elites introducing socialism to America through compulsory health insurance), complete with mandates against free citizens and tax penalties against those who refuse to bow to his statist tyranny! And which he still brags about today and which morphed into ObamaCare, and is on the verge of completely destroying what’s left of our constitution and our freedom! And we have no shortage useful idiots pushing to see it done!! Wake up already and recognize the heavy stench of statism!! It’s right under your nose!!

Are we also pretending that Newt has never sinned against conservatism?

EXACTLY!!!

That rationalization has always sent chills up my spine! When I would argue this point, I would get looks of cross-eyed bewilderment as a response.

The party ain't the problem.

Yes they are, and if we have to kill it then so be it. Romney will not win.Noone listened when they pushed Dole on to the ticket, GW only won because Of Clinton, but then they came back with that vocal right winger(brf) McCain who would have made McGovern look presidential if he had not reached out to Palin.

In any case if the party is not the problem, then it is a problem that elections can't fix.

Haha. You have the wrong guy. Newt lost me when he started talking about hauling judges in front of Congress and colonizing the moon. My vote was for “none of the above”.

Like you, I cannot, and will never support Willard. He can never earn my vote. It isn’t a matter of lacking the desire for solidarity. All we can hope for, as far as the Candidates go, is either for Willard to be accidentally consumed by the world’s largest man, and thus have a race between RP and Newt, or a brokered convention where a mysterious dark horse of some significant quality rises. I’m not holding my breath, either way.

I agree that Rep. Paul should be listed, since he’s a congressman who has 51 delegates. He supports deporting more illegal aliens, but Rep. Gingrich wants to give amnesty to all illegal aliens.
