Ron Paul
Is that a candy bar?
You have said what I began thinking right after Palin announced she wouldn’t run. I did get behind Santorum, but he didn’t make it. In the primary I will vote for Newt, just because he’s the only conservative left, but if Romney gets the nom. I will not vote for him. I will down-ballot conservative and write in some name at the president place.
People keep talking about being afraid of Obama if he gets re-elected. How his people must LOVE to read those posts!
I am not afraid of Obama. He is like the punk with his gang of follower thugs. Take away the followers and watch the punk shrivel.
Fill the House and Senate to take away the follower thugs and enjoy the show! That is what I say!
By the way, I have never bought the line that Romney is the only electable candidate. Romney has never had a prayer against Obama. If Obama was seen as a white man and had the exact same record, Romney might have a chance against him, but “historic black” can’t be beaten by “rich-guy white” when all their other policies are exactly the same.
Just my opinion.
Thank you BUMP!
Thanks, copied, printed, will give to party official.
Just for kicks send a copy to Fox News (or Weasel News as I now call it).
Where?
Some information for you.
"Reagans" 11th Commandment was thought up by California Republican Party Chairman Gaylord Parkinson.
Reagan DROPPED it when he was getting creamed by Ford in 1976 and NEVER used it again!
A colorized pdf of this chart would be great. Please ping me if you do this. Thanks!

Wait! Wait! Wait for it!
We need a revolution at the convention.
Why do you believe Republicans can “shut Obama down” if they control the House and Senate?
The House controls the purse strings, but we still run $1 Trillion deficits. His appointments get through the Senate with little effort, as do his treaties (New START 2011), but Obama has evaded Senate ‘advice and consent’ authority without consequence for three and a half years through the use of czars, unofficial appointments, administrative regulations and Executive Orders. Friday, April 13, he created a new agency vis-s-vis Executive Order to regulate the US Domestic Natural Gas industry - not a peep from Congress. The EPA creates a bureaucratic ‘cap and trade’ since Congress won’t, and 535 church mice respond with submission. We have 40? phantom departments now run by czars and no one says a word.
I don’t believe Obama is acting as an American President. I believe his is preparing the way as an insurgent revolutionary. 2016 elections will not occur unless we stop him here and now, IMHO.
Yes, I will take Mussolini instead of Hitler! Its a no brainer.
In reality, Newt Gingrich was very outspoken in promoting the global warming hoax (even agreeing John Kerry in a "debate" that man-made global warming is an urgent crisis and we must take action now), called for setting up a government board to determine which illegal aliens should get amnesty, giving an example as "people who have lived here for 25 years and have families" as one group that would qualify (as JimRob noted, "by any other name it's still amnesty") and Newt was still touting an Individual Mandate for Health Care as Recently as May 2009
There WAS (past tense) a candidate in the race who had a clear record opposing all those things, but freepers refused to vote for him.
I agree Ron Paul should have a column, since he's still one of the "presidential choices as it stands today". You can make the case that Newt Gingrich is "more conservative" than Paul (he certainly is on foriegn policy), but ignoring Paul all together and not listing his positions doesn't sway any freepers who on the fence and considering Paul. (for the record: I am NOT considering Paul)

I will be voting for Newt. I will not write in Sarah because she doesn’t want it and has made that clear. Newt can do again what he did in the 90’s.
We can stop Obama & the RINOs and reduce & reverse all at the same time if Newt doesn’t get the nomination and Romney does.
...keeping in mind that I voted for Newt in the MI primary. I will support whom ever the guy with the R next to his name is...less vigorously yes, but WILL support none the less.
Really, you folks need to get over it...this site is getting to depressing. Romney is the nominee of the Republican party and Newt is NOT!
If you guys don’t like it, start you own party - yeah, didn’t think it was an option. But stop telling us Republicans how bad our nominee is...this is a democracy. You candidate(s) lost in the primaries and that’s life. No point in getting un-hinged.
I have been a FR member/subscriber for many years and will continue to do so no matter how unwelcoming some of it’s other members (and owner) may be - I suspect most FR members are moving on to the general and while Romney might not have been our likely candidate (mine was Perry), I’m a Republican and at the end, I will support the party’s nominee.
