A major Israel TV station on Sunday night broadcast a detailed report on how Israel will go about attacking Irans nuclear facilities in the event that diplomacy and sanctions fail and Israel decides to carry out a military strike.
The report, screened on the main evening news of Channel 10, was remarkable both in terms of the access granted to the reporter, who said he had spent weeks with the pilots and other personnel he interviewed, and in the fact that his assessments on a strike were cleared by the military censor.
No order to strike is likely to be given before the P5+1 talks with Iran resume in May, the reporter, Alon Ben-David, said. But the coming summer will not only be hot but tense.
In the event that negotiations fail and the order is given for Israel to carry out an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, dozens if not more planes will take part in the mission: attack and escort jets, tankers for mid-air refueling, electronic warfare planes and rescue helicopters, the report said.
Ben-David said the Israel Air Force does not have the capacity to destroy the entire Iranian program. There will be no replication of the decisive strikes on Iraqs Osirak reactor in 1981 or on Syria in 2007, he said. The result wont be definitive. But, a pilot quoted in the report said, the IAF will have to ensure that it emerges with the necessary result, with a short and professional assault.

“How many times does Israel cry wolf? Go getem boys and let us know how it comes out. Sorry we cant go along. We are broke and Iran could not ever attack this country with a nuke. Did you know why? Russia had 20,000 nukes pointed at the USA and never fired one because they knew they would all die. Korea has Nukes and missiles and so what? They are crazier than the Shiites in Tehran. If you come in my house I am going to kill you real bad. Israel is not our house!! So good luck (if you are not bluffing again like I think) and may the better military win!!.”
Newbie, Free Republic supports Israel. You said, “Israel is not our house!! ...and may the better military win!!” It’s okay with you if they all get murdered by Iran? Best you post that on another website, not here.
Prayers up for Israel in dealing with that little madman. 13:20
The angel saying that the prophecy is of the last days, and the male goat coming from the west over the surface of the whole earth without touching the ground has always intrigued me. Will we see the breakup of the US into four parts and out of one of these will come the world dictator? Only G_d knows.
Shiites now have virtual control of Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and the Gaza strip. They believe that they are the Gog and Magog of the Bible, and that they win, when the Mahdi returns to set up the caliph. They are dedicated to dying for allah. They are dedicated to bringing about Armageddon, they are dedicated to the eradication of Israel.
Move one step closer and I will have a bar-b-que...I will put a slab of bacon on this Koran and then set it on fire!
Well I think Israel has been well worth support over te last 40 years. The rumor is we have given them a trillion dollars of aggregate aid and 200 nuclear devices. But the money is all gone. It was squandered on wall street after the government demanded we make bad loans to people who couldn’t pay for “affordable housing” We all know that . Things have changed.Any way no offense intended. We just can’t afford world policeman anymore.
Whatever is done and/or whenever it is done, it will be swift, complete, and a total surprise to the world.
We may even see an attack by Iran, while they are feigning interest in talks.

I agree with you. I would add Russia and China to that group - they join these bad guys for reasons other than the Mahdi. We will eventually get to Armageddon.
Isaiah 63:1-6
I’ve read all your posts. You appear to be against everything, using lots of exclamation marks for emphasis - what are you for? What would make you happy?
I recommend Sweet Baby Ray's.;)
“We may even see an attack by Iran, while they are feigning interest in talks.”
Only if they are complete idiots. One can hope that they are, but they probably aren’t.
Claudehopper didn’t care if Israel died - now he died by the hand of Jim. God protects Israel (and so does Jim).
Good day, either April 20th( Hitlers B-day) or May Day. Maybe Khameini’s B-Day?

it's intriguing but Alexander the Great moved so speedily conquering especially Persia/Elam's one million man army this could be an idiom.
I have not studied all of Daniel in Hebrew and eschatolgy is fun but it divides a lot of Christians. I disagree on this but I hope we can pray that G!D reveals the true meaning

Correct me if I'm wrong but you tend toward this? maybe not exactly but similar?( see below):

This shows the hebrew and Paleo-Hebrew transliterations. All say "he touched not the ground" so no idiom, but what does this mean? Did the conquerer move speedily upon the earth as if their feet touched not the ground or literal as with airplanes? Does this exegesis fit the rest of the scripture? I'll refer to Acts 17:11 and study this more but to me it's a very broad leap to consider America in scripture( Just my opinion):
This ain't Twitter.
