Free Republic Shows Us How To Give Obama Another 4 Years ( LOL Alert)

I've never seen anything close to the hatred of Mitt Romney than I see at FR. The hatred exceeds anything I've seen or heard from Debbie Wasserman Schultz, David Axelrod, David Plouffe or anybody else in the Obama Administration. Most of the people who can't stand Romney on our side say he'd still be much better than another 4 years of Barack Obama who will never have to face the voters again. You won't find that at FR.

Free Republic Jim Robinson: "A reminder for those who are not receiving the message:

Romney is a pathological compulsive liar. Lie after lie papered over with more lies. Doesn’t even flinch when caught in bald faced lies, simply tells another big whopper to cover up or dodge the issue. Funny thing, the man actually seems to believe his own latest lies and simply ignores the glaring record of his past actions/lies. And you have true blue establishment elite RINO Republicans like Karl Rove enabling and backing up his lies. Their motivation is simply to hang on to power (and riches) any way they can.

I’ve stated many times since Romney started running for the presidency way back when that I’d never vote for him and I will not. He cannot lie his way out of his decades long record of support for abortion, Roe v Wade, planned parenthood, gay rights, gun control, global warming, amnesty, liberal judges, big government, compulsory or socialized health care (RomneyCommieCare), mandates, Keynesian economics, support and approval of TARP, bailouts, stimulus packages, i.e, every damn liberal progressive issue that comes down the pike.

Screw Romney!! I absolutely will not support or vote for a proven compulsive liar with a known record of abortion and big government socialism, liberal appointments"

Another post (Jim Robinson):

Way to tell 'em! Then on the morning of November 7th, when Barack Obama has been reelected President for a second term, we all can high-five each other and say we stopped that establishment RINO! Makes ZERO sense. .

You have 4 choices
Vote Obama
Vote Mitt
Dont vote
write in someone else

Only one has a chance of defeating Obama.

I voted 3rd party in 1972 and 1992.

How did that work for you? Here's how it worked for me:

In 1972 we got Nixon over McGovern, IMHO a good thing, despite your best efforts. At the time I was the minor child of a serviceman, and I remember the palpable sense of relief in my parents' demeanor as the results of that landslide became apparent.

In 1992 you helped usher Clinton into ofice. At that time I was myself a serviceman, and the hell of the next eight years means that my personal feelings for you for that one cannot be spoken on FR or within 10 miles of a church without risking some sort of lightning.

If Romney gets in he will never get any wild, liberal legislatiion thru Congress. in four years we will have the opportunity to vote him out and put someone more to our liking in. If Zero is re-elected again, and we are lucky enough to still have elections, we will be back in the same boat we are now in now. We must get rid of this 4 yr old cancer.

It is more like 100 miles per hour and 95 miles per hour. Will you be able to tell the difference from the wreckage?

It’s always easier to stop a slower care than a faster car heading for a cliff.

If the LIAR and RINO Romney is on the ticket,
then Obama is a sure thing and
America is LOST.

Romney works with Soros (JET Blue) and partnered
with him also to put in Obama in 2008.

NO ROMNEY.

and if the GOP takes Romney, NO MORE GOP.

Are you aware that most strains of e.coli are beneficial?

Not in a f**ckin salad bar pal.

Even in a salad bar there are beneficial e coli strains.

In any case, such reasoning suggests the exception, regardless how remote, should govern our actions.

If Romney wins, we’ve lost the GOP forever.

If Obama wins, we still have all those things we bitterly cling to and the GOP lives to fight another day.

We will lose several RINO senators this cycle. A few RINO reps are under the gun, as well.

I might agree with that statement. A Romney win in the primary is not a win in the general election. The games that the GOPe are playing could bring the party to an end, similar to the Whig Party. Obozo could be the end of the Dem Party too. Where does that lead us?

Maybe Romney shouldn’t have pursued that scorched earth strategy. Does he expect conservative will rise from the ashes to vote for him after he burned down their candidates with millions of dollars worth of negative ads?

Yes, he actually does. Mitt’s bunch figured that conservatives would have nowhere else to go after he destroyed our candidates and would vote for him simply because Obama’s so bad.

Here’s a news flash for Mittwits and the rest of the GOP-e: We don’t appreciate Alinsky tactics being used on us, whether they come from a Democrat progressive or a Republican progressive.

You should think about that very carefully lest you ever take the votes of true conservatives for granted again.

Agreed

And I come from a state (Mass. as it turns out) where
folks like Romney and Brown are considered “far right
Rethuglicans” by many, though each managed to get elected once. I am grasping for straws. No Obama, no Liz Warren, no way. Of course in terms of the electoral college, Mass will probably go Obama’s way but I’m making my own statement. I know I’m in the vast minority here.

Questions:
—How does FR feel if Romney wins? (In all honesty during his term or terms, his “feet will be held to the fire”)

—What if he picks a running mate like Rubio (though I think I heard he doesn’t want it?), Palin, etc.? Maybe
he still won’t get support

—I don’t seem to hear anyone on the left saying, “Obama
is a DINO! He isn’t leftist enough for me. I won’t vote for him, even if it means that crypto-fascist Romney gets in.”

Mark Steyn’s new book has some sort of analogy about a train heading for a cliff, representing government spending. Do you stop the train a few yards before the abyss, or do you proceed at “Obama-crous speed” over the
side? I want to stop the train.

I want to stop Obama.

Don’t worry folks, in his second term he’ll get the Congress to repeal that amendment restricting himself
to two terms. He could run for a third, and win. By then
maybe it’ll be like Hitler, only one party will be allowed. Guess which one.

And yes you can vote against Obama by “not voting” or “voting third party”, but in the end Obama could still get in. That is the one result I don’t want.

I don’t know what shape America would have been in with
Pres. McCain and Pres. Palin, but how is it after four years
of Pres. Zero and VP Clueless Joe? I’ll bet many at
Daily Kos and Huffington Post visit FR and LOL. Four more years. Me, I’m voting for “change”...in the Presidential
race. Change IS good when it means getting rid of Barack.

You are the only one to point out Obumo’s racism and utter hate for America. That alone is reason enough for me to vote Romney if necessary to get this excrement out of office.

Yes. I did vote for Newt and would gladly do so again.

I see no problem with Jim’s views and I must say that I feel the same way. When did you lose a sense if right and wrong? Are you going to go along to get along when Satan asks you to join his side?

” I don’t care who you wanted or what you wanted to happen we have Romney. Any vote for anyone else is a vote for obama. “

When did voting your conscience (based upon your principles) become such a bad thing? If this is the case, the electorate is even worse than I thought. A vast majority will blindly support candidate XYZ, just because he has an R behind his name. It’s pretty sad that the GOP-e has been so successful in the conversion of principled conservatives to mindless whores.

Look, if you support Planned Parenthood, abortion, global warming, gun control, liberal judges, etc....Romney is a pretty good candidate for you. Go vote for him and STFU. That being said, quit pimping the Romneywhore line of “if you aren’t a supporter of the GOP socialist, you are basically supporting Zero”. We’ve all had enough of that. The Romneybots do nothing but steel the resolve of principled conservatives to oppose him. Most of the posters on here have integrity. They vote based upon principles. If they vote 3rd party, it means they support that candidate’s positions.

Take the Romneybot talking points elsewhere.

"I've never seen anything close to the hatred of Mitt Romney than I see at FR."

Bunk. People hate the Vichy scam machine that anointed Bishop Romney with elephant urine and then activly worked to harm the campaign of every other candidate in the primaries with the help of the MSM.

People hate having yet another lying Vichy Republican pretending that he cares about anything conservative beyond the day votes are cast. People hate yet another lame Vichy Republican who had a conversion to a pro-Life position just in time for the primaries. But people don't hate Bishop Romney as a person.

They may dislike the sort of guy he is, refuse to shake his hand if given the opportunity, avoid him and people like him like they'd avoid the plague, but they don't actually hate Bishop Romney. That's just another sorry line of whine from the Bishop Romney religion and it's being spread by the Vichy Republican Party. They're hoping to distract attention from the fact that Bishop Romney did exactly the same thing King Barry is doing, trying to dictate doctrine to Christian churches. Of course, we all know the good Bishop Romney would never be a party ignoring the First Amendment of the US Constitution and denying people their Constitutional rights, now would he? He must have just been ill advised when he dictated the marrying of queers one to another and that even churches provide abortion insurance. Yeah, poor Bishop Romney just couldn't afford good advice, that's it.

I mean, it's not like the good Bishop Romney had ever tried to further his personal agenda by aiding and abetting mass murder, right? That's the sort of person that a lot of folks on FR hate, the ones who think a few thousand more infants being murdered due to their actions is a small price to pay to further their personal agenda.
