Democratic consultant Hilary Rosen offered no apology on Thursday for saying Ann Romney has “never worked a day in her life” but added that she loves “stay-at-home moms.”
Rosen said on CNN that “being a mom is the hardest job in the world, that’s the truth of it,” but did not back down from her comments on Wednesday night that touched off an uproar - and drew the condemnation of top campaign aides to President Barack Obama.
“This really isn’t stay about stay-at-home moms vs. working moms, it’s about women in general,” Rosen said Thursday. “I love stay-at-home moms and I have nothing against them and I support them all the time.”
