Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.
In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.
FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!!
We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!!

Hope my message is clear.
My first presidential election was 1960 and I have been on the losing side most of the time. It hurts for 4 years and then you vote again. I would love to vote for one more winner.
My county will vote Republican and so will my state. The rest of you guys do what you like.

BTW, which of these two questions, IYHO, will bother THE NINE SUPREMES the most?
1.) A mandate is merely a dictate. Thus, if we are dictated to, do we then live under a Dictatorship?
2.) If our freedom of choice is taken from us by the dictates of a hostile Federal government, then what Liberty do we have left?
I’m sorry but anything is better than Obama...even Romney. Cant take the chance a Scalia and kennedy both retire or die...and democrats have a 6-3 majority for the next 20 years. That would damage the cause worse than Romney for 4 years. Imagine if there were more support for McCain and rather than sotomayor and kagan we would have had conservatives. 6-3 majority on our side for the foreseeable future. Yep. That's what's lacking, IMHO.
I think the plan should include fighting for Newt as long and as hard as we can. If he wins, we have a candidate. In either case, I think the plan should include:
Fighting at the convention for conservatism in positions of leadership and platform (though the latter has lost much of its force.)
The plan should include electing conservatives in all races, local, state, congress, senate. And, most importantly, making sure these candidates pledge to support tea party issues with legislation when elected.
The plan should result in conservative strength and pressure on whoever is president to sign this legislation - or face dire consequences for their political future.
And the plan should include defeating the current president, his regime and fellow socialists across the board.
That's my ideas for a plan. If anyone has other or better plans...
What to do?
1.) Fly the “Don’t Tread On Me” flag proudly.
2.) Carry signs that say “Enforce the Taxpayer Fairness Rule: make the 51 % who pay NO Federal Income taxes pay THEIR Fair Share!”
3.) Sing or hum “We shall overcome some day - - - “ during Dictator Baby-Doc Barack’s speeches.
4.) Ask the Liberal Agenda Media what they have done TODAY to make the US Federal Government smaller.
I don't much care for any of our options this season, but I do know who's the worst option and it ain't Romney
What are we going to do about it my friend? Stay home and sulk?

I'm totally up for a 3rd party, but there ain't enough time between now and November to make that happen. That dream is for the next go around. Hell, I'll help you start it. But we sure as hell don't need another 4 years of Van Jones types in positions of power.

Well said! Unfortunately, most here are oblivious to that reality and simply cannot see it. They somehow think they will ride on into the sunset heroically jousting at windmills for eternity.
Ditto for me. I want Romney like an ‘’Occupy’ turd wants a bath. He’s a RINO and I’m fed up with holding my nose and voting for RINOS. It’s Newt or nobody!
You can count this Constitutional Conservative in Sir. My powder is dry and my will is unshaken. When the time comes my life, my property and my Sacred honor will stand with those who will stand with me and our Constitution.

It absolutely kills me that these posters, after a clear and unambiguous statement by JR about no MR support on FR (one of about 5000 over the last 6 years) continue to act like children whose mothers said “No ice cream”.
They continue to pose ‘special circumstance” concern and clarification questions because a simple “NO!”is not what they want to hear. They want to be able to continue their ‘special’ reasons for defying the wishes of the site owner and cry “bully” when ever they are told to stop.
Just like a liberal.
