Mitt Romneys campaign issued the following statement congratulating Rick Santorum:
Senator Santorum is an able and worthy competitor, and I congratulate him on the campaign he ran. He has proven himself to be an important voice in our party and in the nation. We both recognize that what is most important is putting the failures of the last three years behind us and setting America back on the path to prosperity.
LOL! Oh the love that some people just failed to see.
FUMR
Bull****.
That kind of sounds like Santorum’s “Mitt Romney’s a real conservative” speech except without the endorsement.
State-controlled media is about to lynch you the way you lynched Cain and Gingrich.
They've just been holding their fire because you are a sitting duck.
Now Santorum will endorse the liberal Romney, the man who has been lying about his record for the last 6 months. The man Sanatorum said could not beat Barry Soreto because of RomneyCare being the blueprint for ObamaCare. If Santorum had gotten out 4 months ago, Newt Gingrich, A REAL CONSERVATIVE would have won the nomination. Now the liberal Willard Romney becomes the GOPs sacrificial lamb in Nov. So yes Virginia, money can buy the GOP nomination, but not the presidency. Karl Rove will find that out in November. Once again the average republican is being forced fed a liberal to against another liberal for president. I am sick and tired of it. Time for a third party. Your country is calling you Governor Palin.
I don’t care to hear a word that that hyprocritical used car salesman Etch A Sketch candidate has to say. And if I never see Karl Rove on TV ever again, it will be too soon.
I saw your disgusting ads against Rick. And against Newt.
I'M not voting for you, Romney.
I'll write in Sarah Palin.
ah,go slip in your own spittle..Rino turd! You won’t get my vote.
Congratulating Rick? Oh, the irony of it all - he destroyed every conservative candidate we had - with his huge coffer and negative ads. I have to blame the American people for lapping up the negativity like a cat does cream. I’ll probably vote for the creep, but, only as a vote against zero. I loathe him more than I do Romney.
I despise Romney. He is a lying, anti-life, anti-family , pro big government liberal. I will never support him. Ever.
Yes, congratulations, Senator.
Mission accomplished.
You blocked the true conservative in the race—you know—the one that had the vision that made the GOP take over the House in 1994 and become a player in politics again after 40 years in the wilderness. You know, the one you of which you said you were proud to have led the charge to oust him in 1999.
You did your job well, Senator. We’ll see soon which Cracker Jack prize Willard will bestow upon you for dropping out now.
BTW all—Newt is still in the race. A leader. A visonary. The only Republican who will take on Obama and beat him like a drum.
But, rather than support him, let’s all cry in our beer that it is all over.
hmmm, so is Gingrich going to suspend his campaign too?
Romney should be congratulating Ron Paul. Last man standing, scooping up votes and heading for the convention.
I will vote for the repub candidate that is running against Romney in my state’s primary.
Congratulations indeed!!
He may as well congratulate Obama on his reelection while he’s at it.
Looks like its about time to form the strategy on how to get MORE TEA Party members in the house and take back the Senate.
We should work our asses off strengthening the house and senate with CONSERVATIVES so the Executive branch has no say in individual American citizen's lives.
Might be kinda awkward considering Palin will end up supporting and campaigning for Willard. She doesn't want your vote.
FUMR!!! and FU establishment.I’m voting for the constitution party nominee or for a 3rd party candidate.
