Trayvon-Zimmerman Evidence (A Primer for Public School Students)
Butterdezillion's Blog | 04-09-12 | Butterdezillion

Posted on 04/09/2012 7:21:24 PM PDT by butterdezillion

Public school teachers are being told to talk about the Trayvon case. If we have just one student in each classroom who knows the facts and is confident to speak the truth, we have access (through that person) to inform people who may never see anything but what the MSM wants them to hear. I've played secretary and assembled the info that we Freepers know and put it into a format that a student can read, to prepare for that opportunity. The content will be in the first post so links will be clickable (hopefully).

Please spread this information far and wide. Add your own links to it if you like, or take bits and pieces - whatever is most helpful, as long as it's kept accurate.

ABC said in their article on the girlfriend stated that they had verified the time she was on the phone.
She states in that interview that TM was the first to speak. He asked “why are you following me?”

GZ answered with a question “what are you doing in this neighborhood?”

IOW TM was the first to confront even in the GF (deeDee’s) statement.

The audio of the 911 call has been taken down? Or just that part of it? Did they truncate the audio?

AG ordered everything taken down. Sure sounded like witness, Mary C who initially WOULD NOT give a statement was using material in others to make up her story...and STORY it was.

Ah, the “witness” whose story changed with whatever new information she had about what the cops already knew...

I hope they bust her for something. Maybe libel. A person can’t just go around lying about something they already claimed to tell the police the truth about.

I must have been busy with something when the AG ordered the stuff taken down because I didn’t know that. Do you have a link for that, or where it was made clear why they had to take the stuff down? I’m thinking about collecting a list of discrepancies, and it sounds like this Mary C is full of ‘em (as well as being full of something else too. lol) It’s disgusting.

I decided to post this today because somebody this morning had posted that public school teachers were told to talk about Trayvon and I realized that it could be a huge opportunity, if we can let our students know the evidence so they can inform their peers. I knew that time was of the essence so I just had to go with what I had on hand, from helping my son know how to respond to his teacher. And then I’ve been battling my computer. (sigh) So any help people can give me, to give a clear picture of the evidence as well as the disinformation and discrepancies would be great.

Or if somebody would like to take what I’ve written as a base, tweak it (by adding or correcting info, or adding links, changing wording to make it clearer, etc), and then post the improved version that would be fantastic. I just want the truth to get out there, and if we can have it in an easily-digestible form that will help our students explain to others.

NBC News' Mara Schiavocampo said she confirmed through Zimmerman's lawyers that the site is indeed his. CNN and other media outlets followed.

I hadn’t seen that. Thanks for the link. So he did buy Skittles and tea according to security video from the 7-11. The timing of the purchase seems to validate GZ’s claim that Martin was loitering in the heavy rain rather than just walking home.

This also has links to the interviews by GZ’s dad.

Helpful stuff. Thanks!

Is Mary C the one who claimed that she heard a “young child” screaming?

I can’t believe how stupid that person must think we are. Neither Trayvon nor Zimmerman would sound like a young child, and Trayvon probably would have busted out her teeth for suggesting it.

On the 9-11 tape I thought it sounded like a woman at first - or an animal getting ripped up by a coyote. It is a sound full of shear fear.

But seeing as the 7-11 tape shows Trayvon buying Skittles and ice tea, all the other evidence against him is moot, ‘cuz he’s innocent.

Take notes about the Trayvon case?

If so, and it’s supposed to be a future project, at least it sounds like the project might avoid the pitfall of a “rush to judgment”. Taking notes sounds more evidence-based than just repeating the standard media drivel. Hopefully some good can come from this “project”.

I guess that goes to show that a scream full of sheer fear doesn’t sound at all like the normal voice of the person.

When in the process does the Martin family even claim Trayvon would have screamed like that? If Martin and Zimmerman had this exchange that both Martin’s girlfriend and Zimmerman say they had and then Zimmerman suddenly shot Martin, when would Martin have screamed? If Zimmerman really had Martin at gunpoint and Martin screamed, Zimmerman would have either run thinking he was busted or else he would have shot him instantly to get him to shut up.

lol.

Nobody in their right mind would think that lil darlin’ was up to no good.

Know what this whole thing reminds me of? It reminds me of the “Praying Imams” story out of of the Minneapolis airport several years ago. Remember the story about the imams who were said to just be praying when some Islamophobes got scared and the imams were ushered off the plane in shame? Then the eyewitnesses reported that these “praying imams” had actually been shouting “Death to America!”, had moved to the seats right by the emergency exit, and had requested seat belt extenders that they never used.

I don’t know if it was ever determined whether it was a dry run for a terrorist attack (to find out what would raise alarms) or if it was a staged plan to sue people for being “Islamophobes” if they reported suspicious activity. The suit, IIRC, was against both the airline for “embarrassing” them by kicking them off the plane AND against the people who reported the suspicious behavior, for “discrimination”. IIRC, Congress eventually passed a law to prevent lawsuits intended to harass people for reporting suspicious behavior.

Those Muslims knew that if a person could be bankrupted by rich Saudis suing these little peons for “discriminating” (reporting suspicious behavior) they could make people too scared to raise any alarms. Thus they could disable all the alarms that would otherwise get in their way.

The Black Panthers are another Muslim group - associated with the Muslim terrorist group Hezbollah - and they want to do the same thing. It’s ironic. Every time another white person gets attacked by black “youths” in response to Trayvon, it makes it all the more absurd for them to claim that people should not be afraid of young black men. That is obviously not what they are trying to prove.

What they are trying to prove is that people SHOULD be afraid of young black men - so afraid that they shut their mouths and let the hoods do whatever they please without so much as a peep in response.

Just like those “praying imams” wanted. They wanted people to be afraid of lawsuits that would bankrupt anybody who reported suspicious behavior. These thugs don’t have the money to do that, but they can attack and kill so that’s what they threaten for anybody who gets in their way. It’s patently transparent.

Reminds me of my daughter shouting progressively more loudly, “I’m NOT MAD!!!!” lol. Somehow the words she was saying were negated by the way she said it.

Thanks for the summary, lots of rumors in schools. My 16 year old stepdaughter and I were driving last week and she brought this up. Couldn’t believe what she said...”I heard he was shot in the back twice, and when he was screaming for help, he shot him again”.
Again, these were rumors from other kids, but there is some serious lack of information out there.

My son’s English teacher gave the kids a copy of an editorial from the NYT - a black author basically trying to say that blacks are assumed to be “up to no good” for just walking down the street. They were supposed to answer factual questions about what the editorial claimed and then give their response about what this event means to them.

My son came home and said, “Mom, I think I’m going to need your help figuring out how to respond to this.”

I asked him what kind of discussion they had in class about it. He said he was one of only two who weren’t gushing on about “That’s terrible! Nobody should get shot just for walking down the street!” The other was a fellow trombonist who he had already talked to about the real story and how the media had lied about the evidence, so he recognized what was going on in the NYT editorial right away.

I work with a guy who teaches gun safety classes. A big guy who has told me about training his daughter in self-defense. We were talking about when karate moves would be needed above and beyond a good right hook and I said if somebody was armed karate would be helpful. He agreed, and it went into a discussion about the Trayvon situation. I think he’s a democrat, based on some things he’s said, so I was a little afraid of what he’d say but after I mentioned that Zimmerman had a busted nose and gash on the back of his head from having his head banged on the ground, he agreed that Zimmerman would have been dead meat without the gun. If a guy is going after your head, to bash it in, you have to either end the fight right now or there’s going to be brain damage so you can’t end the fight at all.

I think when people have genuine facts they reach reasonable conclusions. Unless they have a strong motive not to see the truth.
