If you were looking for a mirror image of the Trayvon Martin incident, here you go. This happened a few days ago, but oddly enough the national media hasn’t made it into a big story. I wonder why?
Police are saying more about a shooting at a Taco Bell Tuesday night in which one man died.
They’re also identifying the victim as 29-year-old Daniel Adkins.
About 7:30 p.m., a 22-year-old man and his girlfriend ordered food at the Taco Bell drive-thru and were told to pull up while their order was prepared.
At the same time, Adkins stepped around a corner into the path of the vehicle and angry words were exchanged between he and the driver.
They got into an altercation and Adkins was shot once by the driver. He died at the scene.
The driver, a 22-year-old black male, called police but has not been arrested.
At first, the couple claimed that Adkins had a metal pipe that he swung at them — but it turns out he was holding a dog leash with his yellow lab on the other end.
Family members want that driver arrested, but he’s claiming self-defense.
“He needs to be behind bars. I’ll never see my brother again,” says sister Marina Reyes. “If he felt that my brother was threatening him, he could have easily just rolled up the window and called the cops.”
This will be all over NBC and CNN by 10:00 p.m. tonight. (/sarc.)

They haven’t released the shooters name, either. Which I think is good. Let the justice system sort it out—then people can decide if there is reason to be angry.
But also, this story isn’t any good because it would get the Hispanics and blacks angry at one another. Obama would need to pick a side. It wouldn’t be good for the democrats or Obama 2012.

How is almost getting hit by a car while walking your dog equivalent to having a hoodlum hit you on the back of the head, put you down on the ground, and beat the hell out of you?

You obviously haven’t interacted much with blacks. Hispanics are Westernera who (in my experience in New York, Chicago, and Miami) have less hatred toward whites. In a black/Hispanic riot, your pale self will likely get killed...by the blacks.
CNN needs to put the video on 24/7.

And since when does lieing about the guy having a weapon - have anything to do with the Trayvon Martin case? The one constant to date with Zimmerman - is his statement natched all other data perfectly.
This is just another violent Black. This is unrelated to Zimmerman.
If it all got THAT crazy, I would expect people would start coming up from across the border— I think at that point we would forget all about race and become Americans.
Just way out crazy thinking. I don’t think it will get that bad but I have thought through some of it just in case. I am with my fellow citizens, unless my fellow citizen is against me—then I pray for the best and give it my all.

Um, I know that is how the lamestream media has portrayed the law in Florida, but you know that’s nowhere near the way it actually is, right? Right?
