My point all along was that once Macs got enough users they would be attacked. Looks like I was right and this is my why of pointing out to others don’t fall for the lies of zealots. The zealots of all stripes will always be lying. Just ignore them. As a system administrator with many ties to Windows and MSDN, I get all manner of stuff from Microsoft that is just outright bullsh*t, and I ignore it. Surely you can do the same for stuff from Apple.
Pointing out that as the number of Macs grows the number of OS-X attacks will increase is simplistic and obvious.
Pointing out that as the security of Windows increases the number of Windows attacks will decrease is likewise simplistic and obvious.

For 13 years, OSX has resisted invasion of Malware (I maintain it still is) and for 13 years, Chicken Little FUD spreaders like for-q-clinton have been screaming "the sky is falling! the sky is falling! Macs will get viruses just like Windows!" Now, an obscure anti-virus peddler in Russia claims they have determined that a new variant of an already existing KNOWN Trojan, one that's signature is already existing in Apple's definition file to be recognized, is claimed to have successfully invaded 600,000 OSX Macs through an OPTIONALLY installable Java component that has not been even included with the OSX distribution by default for two years. . . And one that is only found on a few obscure websites, according to the site claiming the ridiculous number of infected Macs!—PING! So, for THIRTEEN years, users of OSX SERVER and for ELEVEN YEARS Users of OSX client have enjoyed malware free surfing, creativity, game playing, and generally worry free computing.
But trolls like for-q-Clinton and his ilk still call us Macbots, zealots, and liars for extolling that experience to people who have used the alternative Microsoft Windows platform that chalked up over THREE MILLION discreet malware exploitation applications!
During that same time, our platform of choice, the Apple Mac OSX, garnered a mere seven failed proof-of-concept virus candidates, and 22 known Trojan horse applications, a whole two of which that will marginally install with only minimal user assistance!
And for-q-Clinton claims it is WE who need to be educated about choices, and we who need HIS help!
Frankly, from our perspective, HE is the one who has made abysmally bad security and computing choices for the past thirteen years!
