James Carville chose these colorful words to describe Rick Santorum after Mitt Romney swept three Republican primaries Tuesday: He was like a chicken with his head chopped off. The chicken is dead. The only person that dont know it is the chicken.
The Democratic strategist, not known to mince his words, said in a late-night interview with CNN that Santorum can flop around all he wants to [but] theyre not going to nominate him.

Haven’t heard from Carville in a while, did he take a break from choking HIS chicken?
Jimmy is a space alien.
Read about “Mike the Headless Chicken.”

Mike’s head was chopped off in 1945 and lived 18 months. Life Magazine did a feature on Mike.
Cute story. It makes for a good school report for your kids.
OK, that’s 2.
brainless cajun, headless chicken...
Santorum sure did some floppin’ in Louisiana, huh?
Just wait til Texas!
Carville is not a Cajun.
Carville is not a Cajun.
LOL!
That’s our Helen!
Better than being a dickless weasel....
Republican Candidates could improve their Primary vote count by campaigning with the following idea:
Due to the FHA, Fannie and Freddie Bankruptcies of September, 2008, American home owners lost 30 % of the value of their homes. That is a 30 % cut in just one month. Home values are still down 30 %.
Thus, let us cut the total compensation to all elected Federal politicians, and their staffs by 30 %, and an additional 10 % cut to elected Federal politicians each year until Federal Spending is LESS THAN the average of the previous 2 years of Federal income.
BTW, since slightly less than half of the US House, and 2/3 of the US Senate are Millionaires, it will be a great opportunity for Congress to lead by example that EVERYONE should give up their fair share of the American Dream.
What better way can there be to demonstrate that Federal politicians are on the same page as the voters?
but can a politician survive for 18 months without a head?
Rick is kinda embarrassing himself at this point. He has no chance to win and yet gave a speech as if we were at halftime of a competitive primary. I heard him on Laura Ingraham this morning saying he only lost Wisconsin by 4. This is completely untrue since Rick actually lost 44.1% to 36.9% for a margin of defeat of 7.2% - which is pretty much precisely what the last few polls suggested would be the result. Santorum is gaining no ground whatsoever and might not even be able to eke out a win in his home state of PA (the one that rejected him by 18 points the last time he ran as the sitting Senator).
Oh, how I love that folksy, Andy Griffith image that old Carville puts on. Well, if Andy Griffith was brainless and spineless.
He said, they’re not going to nominate him.
That’s either a true, or a false, prediction.
He didn’t say he never won, or that he won’t win, primaries.
