There are some interesting oddities in the Wisconsin exit poll results. It looks like a number of democrats have simply voted for Santorum to maintain questions regarding Romney's viability. Check out the numbers on attitudes to Gov Walker by who the person voted for.

Romney is McCain with hair and funny underwear. He will play his Rino flute and march his followers into the sea. The GOP is a deliberate foil throwing the game to Obama on purpose. I can't wait to see the squid they nominate in 2016.

Neither Santorum nor Romney are acceptable candidates. They are both fiscal socialists. Until Herman Cain was in the race, the focus of debates was the economy. Whether you agreed with his 999 plan or not, he at least kept the focus on the economy and this rattled both the Dims and the Karl Rove faction.

Once he was taken out, Rick Santorum singlehandedly changed the course of the debate away from the economy to condoms, homosexuality and abortion. He has undermined the cause of the TEA Party by redirecting focus to the usual rhetoric used in other elections. He did this on purpose because he himself is a Karl Rove stooge.

Romney doesn’t need anyone to help diminish him... he’s got that covered all on his own.

Well, you made up my mind, if Romney gets it I am going to vote for Obama.
All this info on Romney I am thinking well might as well stick with Obummer.

You’re projecting your own beliefs on to them why they’d vote for Romney; it’s far more likely that they would much rather run against Santorum.

You might be right about my projecting, but my question remains: How do you explain the numbers?

This is just a wild guess, but perhaps many of Santorum’s voters are one issue voters, i.e., family values, homeschool, pro-life. Even on this forum, many see him as a saint, ignoring his voting record of 16 years.

Republican Candidates could improve their Primary vote count by campaigning with the following idea:

Due to the FHA, Fannie and Freddie Bankruptcies of September, 2008, American home owners lost 30 % of the value of their homes. That is a 30 % cut in just one month. Home values are still down 30 %.

Thus, let us cut the total compensation to all elected Federal politicians, and their staffs by 30 %, and an additional 10 % cut to elected Federal politicians each year until Federal Spending is LESS THAN the average of the previous 2 years of Federal income.

BTW, since slightly less than half of the US House, and 2/3 of the US Senate are Millionaires, it will be a great opportunity for Congress to lead by example that EVERYONE should give up their “fair” share of the American Dream.

What better way can there be to demonstrate that Federal politicians are on the same page as the voters?

I don’t care, and thanks for the votes. They think it will help Obama if the primary season continues. The Dems forget that Operation Chaos backfired. It didn’t work.

There have been some rumblings there was an organized Democratic “Operation Chaos” effort.

I thought the question was why Santorum voters had a higher disapproval rating for Walker's job performance and took a guess on why.

I would think that fiscal conservatives would be quite happy with Walker.

What makes you think fiscal conservatives are voting for Santorum?

There may be a few dems who think Romney is an acceptable alternative to Zero.

He is sufficiently liberal, but not as hardcore and stupid as the Zero.

The WI vote per county showed Santorum strong in rural and upstate Wisconsin and Romney strong in more urban and suburban areas. I think our rural folks are more hard core conservative and saw Santorum as the conservative GOP candidate. Ron Paul was a distant third and Newt got even less than Paul.

I am conservative and went for Santorum, but will vote for anyone but Obama in 11/2012.
