Joe is right. The federal government has no more jurisdiction over him as an elected official than they would a governor or a state legislator. These criminal psychopaths of the former "Department of Justice" need severe re-education to understand the limits of their power.

Thanks for posting this article!!
I am thinking the worst of this development. And I am sure that many of you are thinking the same thing. If the feds are ready to order an elected sheriff to relinquish his post, then it seems to me that "plans" are farther along than we think. It almost seems like a green light for other elements of societal unrest to begin.

God, I love this man. I was in Phoenix last week but did not have time to find his office. Next trip our there, I’m making a special point to visit him and shake his hand.

I believe Holder was looking to control more than just Arpaio. I believe he's looking to control possible witnesses in Fast and Furious that may be in Arpaio’s jail. Of course, he probably thinks by knocking Arpaio down, it also knocks his credibility on the eligibility issue.

The current regime doesn’t realize that the USA is made up of sovereign states. But then, when you have a clown in office that doesn’t know the Constitution even though he taught it ....

To borrow a phrase from Algore, and use it where it is actually true, there is no controlling legal authority. The DoJ has no Constitutional authority to oversee a county sheriff’s office’s business.

Well, if we are going to talk about the magnificent, limited government PROSCRIBED poswers of our Constitution, we need to roll back to a better United States of at least 100 years ago.
