God can take it all back at any time, so I better use it wisely.
As to the election, much as I still prefer another candidate, Romney has secured by far a significant percentage of the votes so there obviously is some enthusiasm for him. Denying this is (selfishly) putting blinders on.
Your set only applies to saved, believing Christians.
Due to what He did for us, we belong to Him and owe him everything.
Others may live by the former set of statements,
but we may not.
However, we shouldn’t expect the same requirements of the unsaved that we are required to live by. They just aren’t going to live that way.
