NEW YORK (AP) Sarah Palin doesn't sound too gung-ho about Mitt Romney as the GOP presidential candidate, but she insists that anyone is better than Barack Obama in the White House.
Anybody "would be infinitely better than what we have today," Palin said Tuesday on the "Today" show.

“When Obama pushes leftist legislation we at least have some token opposition. With Romney at the head of the GOP, we will see socialism passed almost unanimously.”
So far our token opposition has resulted in Obama getting everything his America-hating Marxist heart desires.
I agree with Sarah.
I agree with Sarah.
I have to disagree with you there. I'm with Mrs. Palin on this. Anyone but obama, even Biden. While Biden would be a disaster as President, it would be due to his bumbling nature and bad politics. hussein on the other hand is actively damaging to the US.
Biden would be inept and do damage, but it wouldn't be as great as the planned and intentional damage we have going on now. I'd see Biden being former President Jimmy Carter all over again. I don't think even Eric Holder would be as bad. Sure, he's hussein's man, and he'd try to do the same things to us that hussein is doing. But I don't think he has the chops to be in charge. Hmm, that sounds dangerously close to a compliment to hussein, no-one is as good at being bad for America as barack hussein obama.
No one here is going to argue against Romney as a poor choice for the nomination, but it is pretty clear we cannot have four more years of Obama, four more years of radial court appointments, and ever growing government bureaucratic tyranny. Our challenge over the next four years is to force the House and Senate to stay to the right, follow the Ryan plan, and pressure the White House. The House members need to know if they steer to the left under pressure of a Romney presidency that they will be gone in 2014 when we stay home. This is our best option at this stage. The tea party has greatly helped steer the GOP to the right, and our job is just beginning.
I wish the Tea Party would work hard to get states to pass constitutional eligibility requirements much the same as some states have in the works. It seems to me that if Obama can’t make the ballot, he can’t get elected. Then maybe we’d have a chance.
I don’t think that there’s any question that Mitt Romney is, by nature, a capitalist and that Barack Obama, by nature, is not. Romney, by his election (or any other Republican), will open up the spigot of American investment, resulting in more jobs and greater prosperity. So, despite my misgivings about much of Romney’s character and issue positions, I do believe that Gov. Palin is correct that anyone - even Romney - is far better for the country than Obama. That isn’t so much an endorsement of Romney than a statement of practically indisputable fact.
None of the candidates remaining were on my radar when we had a full stage full of candidates last fall, but by God I will vote for the last man standing over Obama.
100% agree.
If you feel any Republican nominee isn’t better than four more years of Obama, you really, really hate this country.
Get back to me when the Republicans nominate a Republican. Other than taxes, I can't see how Romney is any better than Obama -- both pro-abortion, pro-gay, pro-illegal, pro-bailouts, pro-government healthcare takeover, etc.
If anything, Romney is more dangerous because a GOP House and Senate will thwart Obama while they will do the exact same thing for Romney.
Romney doesn't want people like me in the party. I'm just obliging.
Romney is a crony capitalist, not a free-market capitalist.
As is Obama.
Big difference.
Uh, no.
I can vote for Mitt if I absolutely have to. What I can’t do is make him run a good enough campaign to win against Barry and the Chicago Way this fall. That’s something he, and his family, and his people need to step up and do for themselves. And I really am running short on time to see to my satisfaction that they can do that.
If that’s who I think it is, she wouldn’t be infinitely better than Barry, but she would at least suck marginally less.
Hmmm, how to put this... you know Barry was one of the many Democrat community organizers trained in Alinsky's methods, right?
Well, in contrast, Hillary worked directly with Alinsky and was personally asked, by Alinsky, to take over his work.
The difference is one of scale.
Hillary is the freight train.
Obama is the smiley face painted on front of the freight train.
Hillary is just as disgusted as the rest of America with Obama, but for slightly different reasons.
You see, it's obvious to her that he should have started with the concentration camps first.
That is merely one of the things she intends to fix, if elected.
Scale.
This is not just any ordinary election. People are scared about the future. People want competence and a president with a green eye shade. People want normalcy again. They’ve been in this ‘hope’ dream and want to be pinched out of it.
I think the Romney campaign has understood this all along.
People want this country righted, but not necessarily by the most ‘right’ candidate. I think they just want someone with solid, proven, competent, successful business experience. This election is not about the usual social issues that divide right and left. It is about the economy, the debt, and this country’s future and who can best right the course.
Romney has been just about my last default choice, but I can go with him over Obama without a moment’s hesitation. And if we elect a tea party House of Representatives, Romney will have to yield to those forces. I also believe Romney will have to go pretty far to the right in picking a VP.
I just want my sanity and my country back. I want my son to have a future.
Yikes. You’re just full of good news, aren’t you?
she called the LSM right to it’s face
This woman should be President......she is the ONE
