If Israel Attacks Iran, Obama Loses Presidency

Much controversy has arisen recently about the Obama administration leaking details of Israel's planned raid on Iranian nuclear sites by using Azerbaijan as a staging area. The reason for the leaks is simple: if Israel attacks Iran, Obama will lose the presidential election this fall, and BHO will do anything to prevent that from happening.

If Israel were to attack Iran to destroy its nuclear weapons capability, Iran would retaliate by attempting to close the Strait of Hormuz as it has often threatened. The U.S. Fifth Fleet patrolling the area would likely be called upon to keep the Strait open, and expanded American military involvement in the region could not be ruled out. World oil and financial markets would be roiled. Israel would be hit with a barrage of rockets and international condemnations. And relations with strategic competitors such as China and Russia would hit the deep freeze. President Obama would have many 3AM telephone calls to deal with.

But the real pain for Obama would come from the political price he would pay as Americans saw gasoline prices skyrocket (again), dead and wounded U.S. soldiers and sailors coming home from the Middle East (again), plummeting financial markets (again), possible terror attacks on U.S. soil (again), and internet disruptions from Iranian cyberwar. No president could survive politically from such a series of calamities. Thus president Obama is desperate to delay any Israeli attack on Iran until after the November elections, even to the extent of foiling Israel's near-term military plans.

Netenyahu may very well cause Americans a little bit of pain to help save the republic.

I’m pretty certain, he’z not an O-bozo fan.

Iran has no chance of closing the Strait of Hormuz. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Iranian Mines - we’ll clear any quickly.

Iranian Coastal Cruise Missiles - Toast.

Any panic in the oil markets will settle quickly.

That is Israel’s best reason to attack Iran. With hussein in for four (or more?) years, the US-Israeli alliance will be toast. August?

“If Israel Attacks Iran, Obama Loses Presidency”

I disagree. 0b0z0 doesn’t want the war, PERIOD! The reason resides in his DNA; standing with Islamists against “his own” country is quite evident. He’s a pathetic coward who would rather let any regime or even the UN walk all over the US interests than stand up to defend us.

To make a long story short, he’s NOT American because he simply doesn’t act like one.

If Israel attacks Iran, it may help 0b0z0 “stay in power” because of the following reasons:

- Iran’s retaliation will not only be closing the straits, but also bombarding the Western Seaboard of the Gulf from Iraq to Oman with short-range surface-to-surface missiles. This will put the whole area on fires, including but not limited to, Al Jubail in Saudi Arabia.

That may create a huge world emergency because the fires will take a long time to snuff and the damage to oil installations repaired.

- With the world economy in shambles, there will be a lot of civil unrest in Europe, the ME and possibly some in the US. That would add to the next point, the 0b0z0-sanctioned violence.

- He’s fomenting violence in the US through flash mobs, union thugs, OWS, Barack Panthers, Black vs. White as the awaited incident of TM/Zimmerman and most importantly, the L0w and H0lder policy of no prosecution of H0lder’s people or 0b0z0’s sons. Can you say that the country is going African at the speed of light?

All of the above plus the MSM pounding “unity” around the CIC in time of war and demanding Martial Law because of the violence in the US and the war abroad! That would give 0b0z0 the chance to use his latest EO, which revised emergency powers to include non-emergency powers.

Can you say, “postpone” the election would be a de facto 0b0z0 reelection without an election?

If that happens, when would the 0b0z0 regime lift the “emergency conditions” and give the country back to We The people?

It could be a very long time, if ever! That’s how communists take over without firing a shot.

History says that the nation will rally around ANY President at the beginning of a war.

An action by Israel alone may not trigger our entry into a shooting war if OBama is Pres, but what if Israel is attacked.

Obama’s reponse to assist our ally is not guaranteed.

The longer Israel/U.S.A. waits, the worse the outcome. Simple as that. It’s like ‘LOOKING THE OTHER WAY’ from 0bama’s eligibility because of worry about black backlash.. We reap the consequences with each passing day.

This story, Obamacare fiasco, plummeting poll results, etc... Makes you wonder how far away Obama really is from being on a youtube video doing his very own Charlie Sheen ‘winning’ video.

If the White House doesn’t attack, western man will not find it acceptable that he has let Iran get stronger and develop more technologies for use against the West.

Unacceptable leadership from the White House.

They would also need to stage some sort of major distraction to keep Barry and his key people otherwise occupied for a few hours while Israel launches the attack.

And Lord only knows what shape that operation might take.

I love the headline, especially the part about 0 losing his presidency. However, I have a different take: there is every bit as much of a chance that an Israeli attack could improve Obama’s chances of winning re-election. Here’s how: In the wake of an Israeli attack, Obama will have the opportunity to shore up support with the Jewish electorate by making a show of support for Israel as it receives missile attacks, and in the face of the diplomatic onslaught including the SOP at the UN condemning Israel and trying to impose some kind of sanctions. And he doesn’t have to do much. Liberal Jews who have become somewhat alienated by Obama’s attitude to Israel are just dying for the least excuse to come back into the fold and vote to keep the evil Republicans out.

On a broader scale, Obama can come off looking strong on defense by making a display of American military power in the Gulf. The hotter things are, the better for Obama, because Americans tend to rally around the President when we are in a hot military conflict.

Now, you may ask, if an Israeli strike is good for his re-elections chances, why does Obama seem to be doing everything to prevent an attack? Two reasons: 1. Armed conflict is extremely unpredictable. As much as the scenario I described is the likely result, anything can happen. No one running for office, especially the highest office, wants to play with any more unknown, volatile variables than they absolutely have to. 2. Obama wants Iran to get nukes. This is no conspiracy theory. Obama, whether a muslim or a muslim sympathizer, wants to force Israel to make concessions to the Pali’s so he can go for a second Nobel prize and ensure some kind of legacy other than “he was actually worse than Jimmy Carter”. In his sympathies for the Pali cause and his corresponding antipathy towards Israel, he wants the Palis to get a State and he may even wish to see the ultimate demise of Israel. Mind you, he can put a significant amount of distance between himself and an Israeli calamity because, in the wake of the creation of a pali state, it will take a number of years before they can actually destroy Israel. Sort of the same way Clinton keeps feeding off the economic good times he had little to do with in spite of the fact that he also laid the seeds for the subsequent collapse, Obama will bask in the glory of a resolution to the conflict. Years later, the reasons for the collapse of the arrangement and the resumption of war will be impenetrably obscured by propaganda mostly from the leftist media about how it was all Israel’s fault anyway and Obama did the best he could.

Sorry if this sounds pessimistic, but I believe it is more in line with well-established patterns of voting behavior and Obama’s conduct of Mid-East foreign policy, from the day he made that disgusting speech in Cairo. May G-d bless and protect the United States and her best ally, Israel.
