On CNN website headline of stories listed:
"Experts: Screams Likely Not Shooter's"
Click on the link and headline changes:
"Who screams on 911 call in Trayvon Martin case?"
So now they don't know?
Buried within the story itself!...
"Software frequently used to analyze voices in legal cases shows a 48% likelihood that the voice is Zimmerman's."
So just about 50/50.
No mention that the father said it was NOT his son screaming on the tape. No mention they didn't compare a voice sample of Martin to the scream.
Media busted!
Then the story:
http://www.cnn.com/2012/04/02/justice/florida-teen-shooting/index.html?c=homepage-t
Apparently CNN is also ignoring the eyewitness who was sure it was Zimmerman on the bottom, and screaming.
Despicable election year race baiting. There needs to be EXTREME pushback on these tactics, including 0’s “if I had a son...” remarks.
Anyone but 0 ‘12!!!
All of these problems could be avoided if they would just make profiling a capital crime. < / sarcasm >
They can't even analyze for Martin's voice because they don't have any recordings to compare.
Personally I would love to see a Felony law enacted that if lieing on TV or newspapers its a 10 year sentence minimum. Just like crying fire in a movie house
Zimmerman was just told by the police “we don’t need you to do that”, and he was gwetting back in his truck. Martin had disappeared from site and suddenly reappears coming up on Zimmerman. Martin is angry at being followed, he hit Zimmerman and knocked him down. Zimmerman is screaming for help while Martin pounds his head on the ground.
I think reasonable intelligent people could figure this out. White guilt race baiters pound the drums to stoke the fires of hatred.
Liberals have fostered and fed this hatred for decades. Now the black community needs to pay the debt for all the entitlements the liberals have given them. Now they will do the dirty work and heavy lifting while the liberals take their money and their votes.
My theory is Martin, who seemed to be quite fascinated by the “gangsta” culture judging by his adorable tweets, tried to do a “one punch” on Zimmerman which is a gangsta fad to see if you can knock a person out with one punch. It’s a sucker punch and you can see plenty of examples on Youtube. Only Zimmerman didn’t get knocked out, which led Martin to try again and again until he was introduced to the one punch of the 2nd Amendment.
ABC News radio is reporting that it is been determined Trayvon is the person heard yelling
for help on the recording.
The fix is in.
Yeah, about as well as it was "in" on the breathless reports that the police station video proved Zimmerman had no injuries.
This is ABC Radio again broadcasting a false statement - for one thing, it misrepresents what the expert said; and then at bottom, the expert doesn't have enough evidence to base a conclusion on.
This is more whipping the crowd into a frenzy. I hope the producers get leprosy.
Liberal news organizations are liars... they’re made up of liberal elites. How could it be otherwise? Look at NBC...
I'm shocked the Orlando Sentinel would be driving the divisive storyline. /s
with all the conflicting stories the MSM is creating reasonable doubt.
In all actuality, this “scientist” is probably right that it was a 48% chance that it was Zimmerman.
I mean, 48% Zimmerman, 48% Martin and 4% other - considering it was coming from a distant, background source. Heck, it could have been the freaking TV, for all we know.
But, there is at least ONE eye-witness stating that Zimmerman was screaming for help; it doesn’t take a “noise” specialist to understand and interpret THAT!
CNN has a poll last week that 59% of those polls still blame the GOP and George W. Bush for the economy.
Who did they poll, retired Detroit city workers or Berkeley law professors?
The 13 year old eye witness (there were at least two to the actually beating of Zimmerman) was outed by the press. His mother then changed her story saying they weren’t sure.
It's an extrajudicial "expert" opinion at best, and adds nothing but trouble to the situation.
I agree. And especially how they couch the finding as somehow being conclusive.
-- It's an extrajudicial "expert" opinion at best .. --
At best. But, it would not be allowed as expert testimony in court, because it fails to meet the threshold for admittance, FRE 703. The expert's statement is not supported by sufficient evidence, by the expert's own standards and admissions.
-- ... adds nothing but trouble to the situation. --
It is the media's intention to add trouble, to cloud the issue, and to obscure the facts. It's no accident, it is deliberate.
There is tremendous "peer" pressure to lie or dummy up. And for those who aren't peers, there is a very real implied threat of retribution, up to and including death.
