Me either. It was thisclose last year when I was buying, as I liked a couple Fords.
But in the end, I WILL NOT support the UAW, so I went with a Japanese car instead.

I lament the dearth of AWD performance wagons in the U.S. market. Both Audi and Subie bring over very few these days. Stupid SUVs. I want my performance sport utility sports car!

I miss beaterz.com. That would make the Urban Oddities section.

They’re still making new ones at the Subaru plant in Indiana, but selling none of them here.
When brand management goes awry. Stupid, imho. Write them and tell them about it.
I have.

Yep. My dad, bless him, it turned out he was afraid I’d kill myself with a fast car, so that’s what I got.

I might sell the C5 one of these days and get a “pre-Bailout” Z06. I bought the C5 new and did the museum delivery. This was long before the bailout of course. Can you guess what my other car is?

What a mess they made of a perfectly nice early seventies Impala hardtop coupe. I was a low rider in my youth, and the Chevy Impala was the creme de la creme of vehicles to us. I've got to agree that someone made a total mess of that beautiful car.

The Corvair actually was a nice car, especially in the late sixties as is the example in that frame from Bewitched. I loved the Chevy Corvair. It was my first car, and despite its tendency to break generators and throw fan belts, I loved that thing.
I always wanted a '67, though. It was the cat's meow of Monzas.

Liberals don’t care if they have The Speed Channel and Velocity Channel with their TV Cable Package.
As long as they have Bravo and OWN, they are in Pig Heaven.
Mustang Driver here. Just watched some Car Auctions on Velocity and saw the same y=type of cars that I used to own going for $50,000 and up. Bought my first car, a 55 Chevy, for $100 back in the late 60’s. Liberals just don't get it.

I beat up on my dealership GM and have beaten up at all sorts of folks at Audi of America.
It’s no use, they’ve decided that Americans won’t buy, and they can’t sell, wagons.
Unfortunately, they may be right. Our countrymen are idiots on this point. We who care about lateral g’s are pretty rare. Most just lumber along slowly in the fast lane in their tippy SUVs.

One of the big problems is the extremely high cost of Federal crash and emissions testing for each model variant. Our bloated FedGov screws us in yet another way.

So why did Nader never go after the air-cooled VW Beetle? It had the same push problem as the Corvair. Only difference I can think of is it had half the horsepower and some less weight. It wasn't made in USA. (Think American hating commie.)

even imports that had to withdraw like the truly astounding Citroen DS. I looked at one's engine compartment at an auto show. As much hydraulics as an F-104.
