I looked at one's engine compartment at an auto show. As much hydraulics as an F-104.

I didn't realize that the Reactor was built on a Citroën chassis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn_DS - bottom of page.

When I was still in my teens I had a neighbor who owned an exotic (used) car lot. He imported cars to the US, refurbished them, and sold them to the locals for outrageous sums.

Thanks to his generosity I had the chance to drive several early BMW's, Maserati's, Lamborghini's, a Pantera (obviously not an import), and a Citroën SM - the Maserati-powered one. That car was very odd getting used to but a kick to drive once I did. Talk about hugging the road! All very heady stuff for a 17 year old!
