Apparently Arlen Specter doesn't quite understand the need for commercial time outs on talk radio. Friday while trying to promote his book on The Jason Lewis Show, Arlen pitches a fit like a 5 year old over commercial breaks and hangs up. LISTEN TO AUDIO. (March 30, 2012 Hour 3 at the 28:30 mark.
What a self appointed elitist God of all that lives Specter thinks he is.
It's too funny in a way because Jason was just as congenial as he could be under the circumstances.
This is the egomania that decades of “public service” does to highly educated people . . . their rules, everyone else expected to fall in line.
He was a jerk on the Rusty Humphries show, too.
I wouldn’t take Specter’s book, if it were given to me. The Koran has more value.
Arlen’s not used to not being able to call a “a point of order” and having the chair allow him to speak.
Pathetic. Than’t God he’s out of a position of influence!
apparently they didn’t understand how important he is
How about a link to the show in question, not a random list of radio stations?
The purpose of Specter being on these shows is to promote his book, no? Even the biggest a**hole to ever hawk their own book gets that VERY basic premise.
And his behavior helps him sell his book how?
Epic fail.
Very true, although I think it is essential to accurately define what it means to be ‘highly educated’. Going to law school does not make one ‘highly educated’. Getting a b.s. or m.s. in a liberal arts university does not make one ‘highly educated’. Yes, there are those that would define it this way, and those are generally the ones who benefit personally from this definition, but it is absolutely not accurate. I think of Spector as a fairly ignorant man. The wise are not elitist.
I’m sure Sphincter’s book would be good...in a pinch...as toilet paper.
Of course, Kilmeade spent the entire segment kissing his ass.
he wanted to get headlines to promote his pathetic book

How about instead of posting a pissy remark, going and looking it up yourself?
His voice (in my mind) would drive me nuts before I read through the first chapter...
Slamming Jason for advertising, SHEESH, and he talks about give and take in government.
Guess what Skippy, I didn’t post a thread with no link to the topic of the thread.
You go run and fetch.
Last week Glenn Beck & his sidekicks took Arlen Specter and his book apart page by page, one of them doing a creepy Specter impression while quoting some very strange passages about nudity in the Senate massage parlor.
“Truth is always stranger than fiction”
Arlen Specter? Hmmm ... Arlen Specter. Didn’t he used to be a senator or something? I forget whether he was a Democrat or a Republican.
I have a question. Why would anyone have that piece of crap on their show unless they were talking about traitors?
