Outrageous conduct. I know one of the people on there indirectly, this has to have them pretty irked...

Move away from the city and take your business with you.

Read the comments...apparently someone Googled her name and got public info about HER and posted it ONLY on that site.

One hopes Stacie Chan feels threatened enough by the reaction that she feels the need to buy a weapon.

The criminals would love the list.
They would know who to stay away from and who are the soft targets.
A disgraceful action on Redwood City's part.

Lawyers can include the writer and papers in any future incidents involving those named.

Will the city posts the names of those on welfare? of those getting abortions? of those supporting a recall?...

Last time I checked, the Undersheriff of San Mateo County was investigated for spending time in a Nevada brothel. That was about 5 years ago.

The local fish wrap won a court case against the previous governor about ccw records being public, so the state legislature changed the law to make them private.
If my ever name gets posted, I’ll sue their asses in half.

Now criminals have a handy dandy list to help them find safe targets for home invasions as well as cars to break into to get weapons.
Would be interesting to find out what politically connected weapon holders have been scrubbed from the list.

How about publishing a list of everyone who does not have one?
Maybe this would stop.

Sue them for violation of privacy and criminal negligence should any person on the list suffer an attack. The First Amendment may shield you from government prosecution for political speech, but it is no defense for speech that results in harm or the death of another person.

Actually, if I were a CCW holder there, I would like it. It’s like everyone knowing you are a black belt.
