NBC News is being excoriated in some circles with competitor Fox News Channel leading the charge for selectively editing audio of the 911 call placed by George Zimmerman just before he killed Trayvon Martin.
The NBC segment in question featured anchor Ron Allen and ran on the Today show on Tuesday. On Thursday, Sean Hannity and guest Brent Bozell played the NBC version of the 911 call and compared it with the unedited version.

In the NBC segment, Zimmerman says: This guy looks like hes up to no good. He looks black.
The full version, though, unfolds like this:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like hes up to no good, or hes on drugs or something. Its raining and hes just walking around, looking about.
911 operator: Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?
Zimmerman: He looks black.
After playing both versions, Hannity said: They forgot the dispatchers question! How could NBC, in good conscience, do that?
This isnt bias, this isnt distortion, this is an all-out falsehood by NBC News, answers Bozell, who runs a conservative watchdog group called the Media Research Center.
When you hear him say, he looks black, anyone watching that believes that there are racial overtones to what this man did, Bozell says. How could you not believe that? It goes with the narrative of the profiling. The only problem is, they edited out the dispatcher asking him, what does he look like?
NBC News declined to comment.
The dispatcher said, Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?
Well, this article is a start, but how about Martin’s background and a current picture?

I wonder why they didn’t ask if he was a white hispanic.
[Sean Hannity is a good guy, but not the brightest bulb in the bunch..]
LOL! I was thinking the same thing.....
Thanks FRiend....
Since they all wear hoodies these days, you know the gang thingie.......hard to tell.

THAT (I don't think) has ever been used before - it is moronic - but used SPECIFICALLY to help start race-riots.
After the dispatcher asked George if he was white, black or Hispanic, George said he wasn’t sure. He identified him as black when Trayvon turned around and was walking toward him to check him out.
We have to keep in mind it was raining and fairly dark out.
If I remember right, that was just prior to when George said that the guy was running.
I will certainly do that. Like the Rodney King riots.
And this sure took the heat off of Rush Limbaugh in a hurry.
What say you about this, Tom?

I have a conservative Hispanic co-worker. I asked them if they have heard the term “white Hispanic.” They never did until the MSM used it.
Typical liberal lawyers, they are criminals.
This is bearing false witness and inciting riots along with Sharpton.
Some one arrest these people, but we are a nation of wusses with a government we wonder why we pay for Law Enforcement.
I am truly glad I live way out in the sticks, back in the Big Minnesota lake country and woods, where the population is about 5 per square mile. The bear and deer are a bigger problem than the people here.
It won’t be the first time. They lost a boatload on their biased reporting of the Atlanta Olympics bomber (or so they implied)
You'd think that a goggle and bing search would find what I was looking for when my criteria was: nbc dateline cherry bomb chevrolet pickup gas tank
But no. At least not on the first page of results. Though Bing found a blog reader's comment with a vague reference to that infamous fake "investigation."
To be fair, NBC just knew that the Chevy pick up's saddle gas tanks would explode but they couldn't make it happen and there was this deadline.. see and so they just helped it along with a cherry bomb . . . .
It took a while for this one to erupt. Good to have our side looking out for our interests.
