Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill on Tuesday called the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin a "murder" and the result of racial profiling.
"I tell my son, you have to be careful (wearing) a hoodie," Rep. Hank Johnson, a Georgia Democrat who is black, said at a House briefing. "Trayvon was murdered for walking while black in a gated community."
Martin's parents also spoke at the House Judiciary Committee briefing on hate crimes and racial profiling. Organized by House Democrats, the briefing brought the heated national debate over Martin's death and the handling of the shooter to the halls of Congress for the first time.

First of all the neighborhood is not 100% white but from news reports is about 50/50 white and black/other.Secondly is it profiling when there were reports of burglary in the neighborhood in the prior weeks and young black males seen running away from the scene?
Isn’t Hank Johnson the same guy who thought Guam would tip over with too many people?

If I were black, I’d be so embarassed by this President, the CBC, Sharpton, Jackson, and all the others constantly stirring the pot.
Specifically to Mr. Johnson’s comment - Let’s say for argument sake that you are a stranger walking in a gated community at night, wearing covering that hides your identity.... Well yes, Rep. Dumbass regardless of color you absolutely would be considered someone to stop and ask what you’re doing in the neighborhood!
Specifically to MY neighborhood (which is a melting pot) whenever anyone comes through that doesn’t look like they belong there- we keep an eye on them, and yes, if we think you’re up to no good, expect to be asked some questions. Start trouble and I guarantee it won’t end well.
Zimmerman better start suing all these wealthy public figures that are lying about something they know nothing about.
Actually Hank, he was shot in self-defense while giving a beatdown to a pudgy white guy that he evidently thought would be an easy job (NOT!!!) I don’t know what medical school Hank attended, but it is a fact that a person can die from fists to the head...so tell me how many head punches does one need to take before they start to realize, “Hey, my life might just be in danger here!”/s;)
