The nations leading civil rights advocates and hundreds of outraged people packed this laid-back lakeside community Monday to demand the arrest of the man who killed African American teenager Trayvon Martin, even as city police sources revealed details of the confrontation that portrayed the unarmed Martin as the aggressor.
Beneath an incongruously cheerful Florida sun, the passionate but well-behaved crowd marched, chanting and shouting, toward the Sanford civic center, where, inside, the City Commission ceded most of its regularly scheduled meeting to Martins grieving parents, their lawyer and a roster of civil rights luminaries.
[snip]
By extension, does this not mean that the “Reverend” Jackson thinks that Martin is Jesus Christ?
This has gone way too far!
i remember when Colin Ferguson walked down the center of an LIRR train and purposely targeted white people...i also remember the timid reaction of the black “leaders” at the time so i did a little research after seeing this headline...
“Word of Mrs. Federici’s death came as the Rev. Jesse Jackson delivered a sermon at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in neighboring Garden City. Speaking of redemption and reconciliation, he said that he stood with the victims’ grieving families and that it was a “time to move from violence and the use of inflammatory rhetoric and seek a common ground.” ‘The Damage Has Been Done’”
>snip<
“Mr. Jackson said he had decided to give the sermon to help prevent any backlash toward black people stemming from the fact that a black man, Colin Ferguson, is charged in the case. And after the sermon he said, “We should not derive from this a race motif, but a sick motif.””

LOL does Jesse Jackson and others actually believe the crap that comes out of their mouth or do they just spew whatever BS that comes into their little heads
"A riot is an ugly thing, and I think its just about time we had one!"
- Inspector Kemp
I think everybody sees waaay through this by now.

It would seem to me that officials who might turn over Zimmerman to be prosecuted, if they don’t believe he is guilty but are fearful of a riot, are acting more like P. Pilate
than anyone else.
So in this analogy, Trayvon Martin is Jesus Christ?
What gospel tells the story of Christ bashing a guy’s head into the concrete of Jerusalem? The Gospel of Sharpton?
Does satan know enough about scripture to make such comparisons?

Does he think Norton N. Bonaparte, Jr., City Manager
is white too?
Not that Zimmerman is innocent, just that people want him dead, and placed a bounty on his head, without evidence.
BTW, I thought lynching was BAD. According to Jesse, I guess not.
Jackson...Jackson...hmmm...isn’t he that ex-waiter that used to spit in the food of the white people he was serving?
Where are the people protesting over the assault and murder of an elderly white couple in Tulsa by a group of black thugs? The 85-year-old woman died after being beaten to a pulp and sexually assaulted. Her 90-year-old husband, WWII vet, was beaten severely but lived. So where is Jackson and Sharpton’s outrage about this? Or how about the white boy in Kansas City who had gasoline dumped on him by 2 black teens who said the white boy was getting what he deserved?
How much longer will people ignore the truth before their eyes?
My friends and neighbors in South Florida were as well armed and willing to use them as anyone I’ve met in Arizona. Strike that, don’t screw with anyone in Arizona. Still, a riot anywhere outside of Miami or Orlando would be a really bad idea for radical lefties.
Anyone who thinks this has anything whatsoever to do with ‘civil rights’ is living in an alternate universe.
Beneath an incongruously cheerful Florida sun, ... hundreds of people described in the headline as thousands, shuffled their feet, harrumphed and demanded the arrest of ...
“Please! Fat Al and Rhymin’ J Jackson are here!
Let’s not bicker and argue over who killed who.”
Need a barf alert in the title
