he might have not known who Zimmerman was. He might be thought someone was going to rob him or attack him. Some weird guy chasing you down could be a little freaky. Zimmerman might have had his gun out. Who knows?

Please show me a link to real forensic analysis of the tape. I only heard the CNN expert go over what he did with it. It sure sounded like “coon” from that analyss but I ave since heard that they may have done things to emphasize the word.
I’d like to be able to rule it out.

That felon who put the bounty on Mr. Zimmerman has been arrested in Georgia for carrying a weapon.
I played the CNN Anderson cooper segment several times. Their audio expert showed exactly what he did to enhance the sound. The first time I didn’t know what words they were going to say, so I heard what I heard. The next few times i payed it, it was after pople here were suggesting the word goon. When they played the tape I tried very hard to hear goon, but I could not. There was a strong K sound. Someone else suggested cone, and it really could be cone.
Context is key. If there is an arrest and trial, how it sounds to the jury will change the case. It is the only actual evidence of any type of failing, and a moral one at that.
What possible difference would this make? All evidence (that we know of) points to Zimmerman being jumped by Martin when he returned to his vehicle.
Even if you want to say that Zimmerman's attitudes towards racial issues impacted events that possibly led to the altercation, there's more than ample evidence -without having to listen for hidden messages- that Martin's racial attitude is even more questionable.
Two people do not have to be up close to exchange information. Zimmerman just wanted to know why Martin was in the apartment complex. Simple question with a simple answer.
Mr.Zimmerman has, as a member of community watch, a history of informing the Sanford police of questionable or suspicious activity in that gated community. He does not, as far as I can ascertain, have a history of violent confrontations, something community watch folks are warned against doing.

Just because someone is following a person, it doesn’t give that person the right to assault the follower- Trevon commited a crime by assaulting zimmerman- but the media is silent about thagt crime- Zimmerman had every right to follow someone he thought was acting suspicious in a neighborhood that had been repeatedly burglarized- Trevon did NOT have the right to turn around and assault zimmerman nor to bash his head agaisnt hte3 sidewalk so badly that zimmerman felt his only recourse at self defense was to shoot hte boy
E N O U G H with this bull shit racist accusations about zimmerman- Trevon commited a crime first on zimmerman, and it was so severe and so violent that it led to a trajic death that coudl have been avoided had trevon OBEYED the law and not attacked zimmerman as zimmerman was leaving the scene- Hell- Zimmerman didn’t even fire on the kid and tried to call for help REPEATEDLY but per usual- NOONE came to his aid- ONLY THEN did zimmerman pull his gun and fire!

actually, Zimmerman got in trouble several years ago for battery involving a police officer and his ex-fiance accused him of domestic abuse.
Was he tried and convicted of battery of a police officer and domestic abuse?
Getting “in trouble” doesn’t mean squat if he isn’t found guilty and punished.
I had a relative who tried to frame me for assault and battery. There is more to such stories than just a police report.
