Obama Caught on Hot Mic: Tells Russian PM He‘ll Have More ’Flexibility‘ ’After My Election’

ABC’s Jake Tapper has a stunning report out of Seoul, South Korea this morning. According to him, President Obama was caught on a hot mic telling Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev that if given “space,” he’ll have more flexibility “after my election.”

Here’s how Tapper puts it:

At the tail end of his 90 minute meeting with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev Monday, President Obama said that he would have “more flexibility” to deal with controversial issues such as missile defense, but incoming Russian President Vladimir Putin needs to give him “space.”

The exchange was picked up by microphones as reporters were let into the room for remarks by the two leaders.

And here’s the exchange:

He’s also going to get a big fat pension and tons of benefits for the rest of his and Moochell’s life.

Basically, he’ll give away ALL our nuclear weapons and missile defense. It’ll be in the name of cost savings (gotta pay for Obamacare, after all) and “setting the example for World peace” (or some such nonsense). And Congress won’t do a damn thing about it because the MSM will be having an Obama-gasm over the whole thing.

The obvious risks of unilateral disarment will be painted as the ravings of militant, imperialistic jingoist xenophobes.

This story seems to be disappearing as fast as it was put up. Hope someone is archiving the video.

Yeh, right after the election he’s going to declare martial law so he will be president for life and able to do anything he wants. I love the way Barky thinks he’s going to be re-elected.

But Obama will be re-elected. The Dems are all for him, and the Republicans... well, “If my guy isn’t nominated, I’m not voting. Obama is no worse than XXXXX”.

Yeah, that’s a good idea.

I’m not working that way; I’m voting against Obama if it is the last thing I do.

It remains to be seen if I’ll vote for Romney or a third party. That will depend on how far left Romney swings. Given the “etch-n-sketch” comment, that could be pretty far. Romney has apparently gone as far right as he’s gonna go, and it wasn’t very far.

If Romney goes too far left, I’ll vote Constitution (are they running anybody?), Losertarian, Green, or something. I’m not going to vote against Obama for Obama Lite.

We can’t just let the GOP to get away with taking us for granted. If they want our votes, they better be ready to throw us some big, meaty bones.

If Romney is the nominee, the GOP WILL be a third party.

Hey, I’m a “militant, imperialistic, jingoist, xenophobe” and proud of it!

I was a jingoist, before jingoism was cool!

If this thing in Florida blows up, we will not have to worry about the November election.
Pretty damn hard to hold an election during a civil (race)war.

it isn’t beyond reason to speculate that he had some sort of informal contact with the kgb or kgb-paid agitators when he was a student.

interestingly, he was alone while detained in russia a few years back as a senator for several hours. When I first read about this, ‘debriefing’ came to mind.

Hell, giving russia the ussr-invasion of poland date as the day to cut off the missile defence deal was an eyeopener....

If you believe that Romney would give away the farm to the Russians on defense, ok.

Romney isn’t a conservative, but he doesn’t hate America. If he is the nominee, and you vote 3rd party... well, you may as well save your effort and not vote at all.

Where does Soros figure in all this? I’ve been suspicious that he’s a Soviet agent for years, but thought perhaps I was too addicted to my tinfoil headgear. Now, maybe I’m prophetic.
