"Today, in the interest of full transparency, we are informing you that 25 Gannett Wisconsin Media journalists, including nine at the P-C, also signed the Walker recall petitions. It was wrong, and those who signed were in breach of Gannett's Principles of Ethical Conduct for Newsrooms."

These "journalists" need to be fired, not reprimanded. They will get their raises, their colas, their promotions, and will continue using their media position to push liberalism down our throats.
YOU mean Gannett wasn’t out there collecting petitions?
“YOU ARE FIRED”! Shine a light on this. Tweet, e-mail and get the word out throughout Wisconsin and the World, that these “jounalists” are unethical and do not deserve their titles. Be like Breitbart.
I find it hard to believe it was only 25. Perhaps the rest are too illiterate to even sign their names.
Nice Code of Ethical Conduct. As if publishing a carefully worded document will make anybody believe that they are impartial. I would prefer that “journalists” sign every petition they want, and wear campaign buttons for their preferred choices. That would be full disclosure, not this pious pretense that they are impartial.
I love it when the mask slips away and we find out who these “journalists” really are.
Gannett publishes the rag that poses as a newspaper where I live. I cancelled my subscription five years ago. We get more real news on this site and others than we’d ever get in the lame stream media.
I do, however, read the WSJ daily.
Not to mention a batch of Wisconsin judges who signed the recall. Obviouly they prefer unions running the state legislature and governor as was done in the past, higher taxes, a state deficit, and a governor who unlawfully raided funds to cook the books.
So this means they all have lost their jobs and any chance for claim of their pensions I presume?
There is great need for continuing education of “journalists” in Ethics & Integrity. What a bunch of duplicitous moonbat asshats.

Posters should be made for this!
The media would be all over this if they weren't so biased!
It's like an iceberg, you see only a small portion of the total. This example should be used politically and widespread until it's no longer an issue!
They each will receive a strongly worded memo. E.O.S.
The fact that the signatures would be made public wasn’t announced until a couple weeks before the end of the signing period.
I’m sure that all these people signed THINKING that nobody would ever know.
Wow, while doing investigative jour’o’lism they broke a story about 29 circuit court judges who signed the petition to recall Walker.....
I can only imagine their surprise when looking at the petition lists to find dirt on important people, their OWN employees showed up... Oops...
I am surprised they disclosed it...
Ya mean to say that Gannet has ETHICS??
REALLY?????
They sure had ME fooled.
Go figure...
The city powers that be told "Gannett" to fire him, and Gannett did.
He got a really big, but undisclosed settlement.
I just got a real nasty(good) idea... how about if the epa stopped looking at coal power plants, pipelines, etc. and starting looking at and fining the paper mills(especdially the ones that produce newsprint paper)... ever see a paper mill? they are dirty, stinky nasty places....I would love to hear a candidate say, “ i will make running a paper mill so damn expensive they will have no choice but to shut down”......
