I recently completed some forbidden reading about Sherman’s march to the sea.
He divided his army into two columns so the rebels wouldn’t know which column to attack.
Each of Sherman’s columns attracted black slaves. They had no idea what they were expected to do.
Sherman’s officers dropped off black slaves into southern towns as the columns passed through. The slaves sat there in the town square expecting to be fed and given shelter.
Sherman’s officers explained to the former slaves that they needed to hire themselves out to work for food and shelter. Most didn’t get it.
I can sympathize with these slaves because they were never taught about work, free enterprise and earning money for your bread to eat.
But it’s been more than 150 years to get it. I’m seeing, with many of the entitlement black folk, that they’re still stuck in 1865, waiting for a hand-out.
Speaking of race hustling, I wonder if the media calling Mr. Zimmerman “white hispanic” also call our President “white African”?

The events happened fast.
I don't know what you've been reading, so let me help you out.
The first officer to respond, Timothy Smith, handcuffed Zimmerman, took him into custody, took his weapon (which is still in evidence in possession of the Sanford Police) and sent him downtown for questioning. That's not an arrest, but your statement tends to imply they just gave Zimmerman a friendly wave and sent him on his way. The scene was taped off and the major crimes division was called to process and collect physical evidence. The State Attorney's office was called, as well.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood that night and in subsequent days soliciting witness testimony and taking statements.
The lab and medical examiner conducted tests of evidence, including Zimmerman's clothing, which is still in police possession, and an autopsy on Martin.
Police confirm that no sobriety test was conducted on Zimmerman. Maybe there should have been, but you make it sound like there was no investigation at all. That is inexcusably wrong, since all of this information is public and easily accessible.
If you can’t handle yourself in a fist fight, don’t get into one. HE upped the anti and shot an unarmed man.

Martin was 7" taller than Zimmerman, and according to the only official report, he was attacked by Martin, and was being severely beaten; since neither of us were there, I'll go with the police report.
In your example, don't attack with your fists, and then whine when you get shot.
A man without a gun, that started the physical attack is not a victim, and I wouldn't hesitate to defend myself with a gun under those conditions.
Well, I guess you have a point and I may have been mistaken.
If Traynor attacked Zimmerman without cause, that is another story. If Zimmerman was trailing Traynor and harrassed him, that is an extenuating circumstance in Traynor’s defense. If Zimmerman was just minding his own business, it was Traynor’s fault.
We need to see what the investigation shows before giving in to people who are willing to justify Zimmerman at any cost and people willing to hang him without cause.
At any rate, this incident is moving the anti-gun fanatics to attack the Castle Doctrine, the Right to Carry, the No Retreat Doctrine and the very Second Amendment itself - all of which is extremely bad at a time when public opinion has swung in th direction of the Second Amendment.

The "new" eye witness report, was actually filmed the night of the shooting, but it was kept under wraps because it didn't advance the narrative that Zimmerman was an evil perp.
Anderson Cooper on cnn had two women that lived in the neighborhood and both called 911, claimed on the air, that while they actually saw nothing, they were sure that it was Trayvon that was screaming.
Will Anderson have them back on his show, now that this is known to be false?
msnbc should fire fat al and jesse ought to get his posse back to Chicago and take care of the 15 people that were murdered over the past two weekends {this doesn't include any body count from Monday 12:00 AM through Friday at 5:00 PM, those are just normal work week murders {under union contract}.
Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are racialist whores and Andeson Cooper is not much better. He’s stupid too. I saw him on Jeopardy and his knowledge of geography was nothing short of amazingly ignorant - even for a non-newsfigure.
