In your example, don't attack with your fists, and then whine when you get shot.
A man without a gun, that started the physical attack is not a victim, and I wouldn't hesitate to defend myself with a gun under those conditions.
Well, I guess you have a point and I may have been mistaken.
If Traynor attacked Zimmerman without cause, that is another story. If Zimmerman was trailing Traynor and harrassed him, that is an extenuating circumstance in Traynor’s defense. If Zimmerman was just minding his own business, it was Traynor’s fault.
We need to see what the investigation shows before giving in to people who are willing to justify Zimmerman at any cost and people willing to hang him without cause.
At any rate, this incident is moving the anti-gun fanatics to attack the Castle Doctrine, the Right to Carry, the No Retreat Doctrine and the very Second Amendment itself - all of which is extremely bad at a time when public opinion has swung in th direction of the Second Amendment.
