As Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney apparently wasnt all that concerned about rising gas prices. In fact, he viewed them as a net positive that would encourage conservation and get people to abandon their automobiles in favor of biking or walking. Naturally, he was also on the climate change bandwagon and he even predicted in 2005 that so-called clean energy was poised for explosive growth over the next decade.
Today of course he is all about drilling, which is a good thing.
But the question is: Are there any issues left out there on which Romney has not yet flip-flopped?
Alec MacGinnis writes in the New Republic:

that is why I am of the belief that there will be a ‘brokered convention’. We do NOT have a conservative candidate here.
Mittens? No way..no how..Just NO!
This “shakes” my confidence in the man.
That's where the Etch-a-Sketch comes in.
The only difference between Obama and Mittens is, well, nothing. Mittens might, just might resend some of Obama’s EO’s ... but he would surely replace them with his own versions of the same things.
“Romney: The best way the GOP has to guarantee four more years of Obamanomics”
Perfect!!! Excellent!!!
I will vote for the nominee, even if he is Romney.
He certainly would not be my choice. However, the thought of Obama for for more years is to frightening to contemplate. I think he is a serious threat to our very way of life. He hates what I think makes this country great. He is trying to destroy this country and incite hatred at every level. His Supreme Court nominees are equally dangerous. The thought of him naming another one or two is unimaginable. He will construct a SC majority that will write law. I can’t stand by and watch it.
The only reason Romneycare is only a state level program is because that was the extent of Romney’s power as a governor. Don’t buy his 10th amendment BS. That’s just a convenient excuse his campaign came up with to spin his flavor of socialized medicine to conservatives. He could care less about states rights other than the fact that it is the issue du jour.
They are two buses going in the same direction. But, one bus 10 city blocks ahead of the other bus. Some will gladly board the Romney bus thinking they're doing well not being on the bus far ahead. Seemingly too few are looking for the bus going in the opposite direction.
I do not want Romney, but an Obama win means more than just Obama policy for another 4 years.
An Obama win will be seen as a vote for SOCIALISM!
Most of the public is not as informed we are, on FR.
Most of the world is not informed at all.
If Romney is the nominee, I see no choice but to vote for Romney, though I do hope we get a better outcome, at the convention. If we do not beat Obama, America WILL be a Socialist country, there is no getting around that fact.
Another thing? There is a very good chance of a Republican Senate, and a few more Republicans, in the House.
Romney will have trouble “etching and sketching” with a Republican Congress. He HAS to be better than Obama.
“He could care less about states rights”
He may pretend to support the 10th ammendment. Fools believe that crap.
“Romney will have trouble etching and sketching with a Republican Congress.”
Oh, you mean the same Republican Congress that was too weak to take a Democrat president to task on the debt ceiling? Yeah, they’ll -really- go after one of their own.
“He HAS to be better than Obama.”
How? Romney’s positions are perfectly aligned with the Obama agenda. I’ve posted them so many times on here that I’ve gotten sick of it.
I don’t Mitt has ever flip flopped, I think its all pretend.
I think he still the same pro-gay, pr-abortion, anti-gun liberal he always was.
“He HAS to be better than Obama.”
A Romney win is not better than Obama.
What difference does it make?
Mittens has a habit of appointing leftists to the courts too.
No me. I’m sick of being the GOP yes girl. They treat us like dirt and expect us to get in line and vote for someone we know is a mini-marxist. I’ll vote third party or write in a candidate. NO ROMNEY, NO WAY.
An Obama win will be a disaster, on all fronts.
