Politically speaking, once you find yourself saying, about a failed program, ‘This Was Not Our Program Per Se’ , you are screwed.

He’s like the teenager caught with a joint in his pocket saying, “I was holding it for a friend.”

Hmmm. I thought Susan Collins of Maine voted for the so-called stimulus? Perhaps it was Senator Snowe?

One Pubbie in the Senate voted for it. And it was a woman.

I don’t believe there were any GOP votes for it in the House.

The Marxist in Chief caught lying isn’t anything new.

I am amazed, however, that ABC just committed a random act of journalism.

Anybody who has to amend their remarks with the phrase “per se”, has already gone far down the road to ducking blame.

This “green energy” funding is all, and entirely, a creation of the now failing obama regime, and can in no way be attributed to George W. Bush. The chokehold on the flow of the natural resources that go to produce energy is not accidental, and the diversion of funds from the meaningful efforts to get energy to the industrial complex of North America only diminishes all the other productive work that Americans as a whole are pursuing.

The Current Occupant is not the path to the solution, he is the obstacle on that path. And yet he seems not to realize his role, or if he does, he seeks to delude the American public.

Rush Limbaugh is talking today about how the Liar-In Chief is taking credit for laying the keystone pipeline even though he is not doing any such a thing. Rush says Obama knows he is in trouble and that is why he went to Oklahoma to make it look like he supports the keystone pipeline. The media are supporting his lie and so we must depend on the American people to wake up and see through this. The last election shows the American people are waking up. The Democrats are counting on Americans being so stupid and ignorant they will fall for his b.s..

If anyone was wondering just what the meaning of INEPTOCRACY is you are reading about it as shown by Obama....he is about as adult as his youngest daughter...and far more foolish than that child.

I’m sick to death of hearing this guy talk. Everything is an excuse. not his program? Absolute Bravo Sierra. They were his friends and his donators. Itr was all about him and making him self look good and paying off his cronies.

Then it wnet bad and all of a sudden it was “not his program, per sey.”

He is destroying the country and as the effects and consequeses rear their ugly heads...it’s everyone else’s fault.

This guy and his abettors in the admin and the congress need to all be run out of town on a rail. They need to be defeated and humiliated so badly that it’ll be 20 years before they think about showing their faces in public again.

Sor of like Jimmy Carter. it was a long time before you heard much from that wind bag...and now that we are, we find he’s still trying to blame someone else, still steeped in his rediculous libral mantra, and is basically an angy, bitter old man who blames everyone but himself for what he brought the country to and how it was turned around by Ronald Reagan.

God grant that we do that same thing again starting this November.

So the do-nothing CONGRESS did this one.

Don’t buy that one, huh?

Well actually Bigfoot did it! And MSNBC has the pictures to prove it!
Or aliens? Or an international ninja conspiracy?

Just don’t blame me. Anyone but me.

By the way, how can environmentalists talk about how 'big oil' is bad for mother Earth while at the same time promote the grotesque defacement of large swaths of property with solar panels?:

Isn't this BEAUTIFUL? /sarc

What about this disgusting array of BIRD SHREDDERS?:

RE :”“Obviously, we wish Solyndra hadn’t gone bankrupt,” Obama said. “But understand: This was not our program per se.”
“Congress — Democrats and Republicans —
put together a loan guarantee program because they understood historically that when you get new industries, it’s easy to raise money for start-ups, but if you want to take them to scale, oftentimes there’s a lot of risk involved, and what the loan guarantee program was designed to do was to help start up companies get to scale,” he said.
Obama mischaracterizes congressional support for the program, however. The loan to Solyndra was not part of a program developed by both Republicans and Democrats. Rather, it was entirely funded through the 2009 Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which did not receive any GOP votes.

I knew there was an explanation for this. Republicans forced Solyndra on Obama. It couldn't be Obama's fault anymore than gas prices are.
Megyn Kelly said she will report on this next hour.

http://www.factcheck.org/2011/10/obamas-solyndra-problem/index.html

The stimulus bill that funded Solyndra received no Republican votes in the House and only three in the Senate — including Sen. Arlen Specter, who later switched parties.

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 that created the section 1703 loan guarantee program had the support of a majority of Republicans — who controlled both houses of Congress at the time — but not “all” of them. The House passed the conference bill 275-156, and 31 Republicans opposed it. The Senate passed it 74-26, with six Republicans voting no. Sens. Joe Biden, now Obama’s vice president, and Hillary Rodham Clinton, Obama’s Secretary of State, voted against it, as did many other Democrats. Clinton criticized the bill as too generous to the oil industry and attacked Obama for voting for it, as we wrote during the 2008 Democratic primary.
