Last weekend in the city of Chicago alone, gangbangers slaughtered ten people and wounded another forty. The youngest fatality is only six years old. The youngest person wounded is only one-year-old. Many of the victim were pedestrians sprayed with bullets in drive by shootings. The national news has said nothing about this.
So why does one shooting in Florida warrant weeks of national news? Why has there been thousands of articles a day, for the last four days, about one single shooting?
Almost all of the news items about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin contains a combination of false statements, opinions presented as facts, transparent distortions, and a complete absence of some of the most relevant details. Almost all news items are written soley from the point of view of the grieving family. The media also fills their articles with outdated baby-faced pictures of Trayvon. Very few include that he was a towering 6'2” football player. Is the media really reporting the news, or is this classic agitation/propaganda to advance a political agenda.

Anyone know the name and politics of this DA? It’s possible that he’s a liberal that blamed the Stand Your Ground Law for his inaction on purpose, to create an issue and get the law changed.
Said under his breath right before the point where the dispatcher asks if Zimmerman is following, he says "Yes", and the dispatcher replies, "OK, we don't need you to do that."

I agree with all . Zimmerman says on the tape the guy is up to no good, he might be on drugs, he is criminally motivated by looking at houses, he is reaching for a weapon in his waistband. This was a highly dangerous person to follow and ask questions to and Zimmerman by his own choice wants a piece of this action. No sane person would follow a person on drugs, who he thinks has a weapon unless he wants something bad to happen.

I don’t know what he said there. It was kinda garbled don’t you think. I guess some folks will hear what they want to hear.
What about the screaming? Folks are making a huge deal about the screams for help. Only problem is, the screams aren’t from Martin. Or rather, what does it mean if it turns out to be Zimmerman? Mom said it was the kid. I saw the inverview on TV.
If it was Zimmerman (and I believe it was) then what does that lead you to believe?
Also, the comments on youtube are quite revealing. Most of the commenters apparently don’t know that Zimmerman was not white. Reckon why that is?
And your “wisecrack” comment is “whine”? And how is wondering when it’s ok to fight back a wise crack comment?
Or unless he is willing to put himself in harms way to prevent harm to others who have put their confidence in him as Neighborhood Watch.
Get the herd moving fast enough in the right direction and you can use them to stampede your enemies...
If you pick a fight with somebody and then shoot him when you find yourself unexpectedly losing, you don't get to claim self-defense. Especially if the other guy is armed with a bag of Skittles.
Of course, we still don't know exactly what happened. E.g., maybe Zimmerman just questioned Martin, and Martin flew off the handle and jumped him. Then the case for self-defense would be much stronger. But if Zimmerman laid a hand first, he's toast.
The cops were on their way and they would be there in minutes. That’s a policeman’s job. He has no authority. They wanted him to meet them at the gate so they can check things out with a marked policeman. There was no immediate crime or crisis. only in Zimmerman’s warped imagination.

George Zimmerman is under a legal impediment in this trial by media. He has likely been warned not to make any public statements, because he is still under investigation.
Add to that the obvious MSM delight in pushing the race card, and you have one side getting 99 percent of the attention.

Of course the other side is 100% dead.
A witness stated that Zimmerman was on his way back to his truck when Trayvon jumped him.
I'd say that is really damn "immediate".
