You WANT to make excuses for them? You WANT to CREATE a distinction? The problem IS that people perceive a distinction where there is none.

Yes, I want to make distinctions between Muslims who attack us and those who don’t. I don’t give a rat’s patootie what they believe, only about what they do.
I would rather fight 100M Islamists (to pick a number) than 1300M Muslims.

Norm — Sherm is no rat. He does pose opinions that we don’t like, but these are logically put together (like for instance, we don’t want to give a government the power to decide which religion to ban or not, do we?) — we are handicapped by our legal precedence, sense of justice and democracy —> but we can ban the philosophy of Islam on ground of violence.
