World Government Lobby Frets Over Fate of Lugar (Senate IN)
Accuracy in Media ^ | March 19, 2012 | Cliff Kincaid

He’s got to run against who he is.” This was the verdict on Republican Senator Richard Lugar from one of the activists attending a Citizens for Global Solutions (CGS) national conference in Washington, D.C. last week. The group used to be known as the World Federalist Association but dropped the name because of the taint associated with promoting world government.

The incumbent Lugar, one of their favorites, is fighting for his political life in the Indiana Republican Senate primary against Richard Mourdock, Indiana’s State Treasurer, who has highlighted Lugar’s financial link to Democratic money bags George Soros. “Senator Lugar is one of the few Republicans ever supported by Soros,” Mourdock says.

The World Federalist Association had openly stated that a “world federation,” a euphemism for world government, can be achieved by advancing “step by step toward global governance” through establishing new U.N.-associated entities such as the International Criminal Court and by passing measures like the Law of the Sea Treaty. One of its main priorities is “To provide the U.N. with sustained and independent sources of funding.” That is, global taxes.

“Lugar can’t use that part of who he is,” said a left-wing activist, discussing the race as people waited for Obama Administration officials to brief the participants on “genocide prevention.” He said the world government lobby had met with Lugar’s personnel to offer their help, but were told that any public expression of support for the liberal Republican senator would backfire because of mounting Republican suspicions that Lugar is a RINO—Republican In Name Only.

This old pimp is the poster boy for RINO.

You can always depend on Lugar to lean left but talk right.

He is one of the good ol' boys that go along to get along.

He just wants his private car and driver, perks to senate clubs and staff to clip and polish his toe nails.

At his age he will pass, more often than not, on senate blow jobs but will take an occasional back rub, mostly from lindsay grhamnesty.

Thanks,
Thought I read Indiana was brazen with election fraud last election. Hope Mourdock's momentum grows. This article basically says Lugar has to lie to get re-elected. (McCain talked tough about the border in 2010)

These career RINOs need to be retired.

I hope the people of Indiana are smarter than those of Arizona who reelected the Rhino McCain, and those of Utah who appear ready to reelect the Rhino Hatch.

We’re trying as hard as we can. Lugar paid a visit to our area about 2 months ago. No one could remember the last time he was here. Someone asked him about a pending environmental rule that the EPA was issuing that would force older coal power plants to shut down in the next 2 years. He was clueless.

For years and years he basically ignored the folks back home because he was perceived as the “Elder Statesman” in the Senate and the Dims were afraid to run anyone agaisnt him. But now that his ass is really in a jam, why he’s just a good ole’ Hoosier like the rest of us.

Time for him to go, indeed.

The RINOs all are, aren’t they, tr?

***The US has become a place where talentless entertainers, treasonous politicians and criminal professional athletes, are sadly-mistaken for people of importance.***

Lugar, Hatch, McLame et al, ad infinitum ad nauseum.

“I hope the people of Indiana are smarter than those of Arizona who reelected the Rhino McCain, and those of Utah who appear ready to reelect the Rhino Hatch.”

Hatch used to be good and has tacked hard right to win.

Lugar is a real RINO. he tried to push LOST, Law of Sea treaty. He’s been in many of the RINO ‘gangs’ that have undercut conservatives, squish on immigration.
Overall, someone who drank too much Potomac water and definitely should be retired.

It would be some slight consolation for having milt shoved down our throats if we could at least be rid of Lugar.

How any Republican can support Lugar now is not something I can comprehend. Indiana Republicans need to make Mourdock’s election their top local priority.
