That was before, now many of us have left Illinois which has turned hard left. I left in 1998.
If you live in the 50th State Senate district, Sam McCann who spoke at March 7th’s IGOLD (Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day) and has sponsered the bill to get rid of the FOID card and is serving in his 2nd year deserves support. He is very accessable and attends many conservative functions. Another IGOLD Speaker Tom Shafer is running for Sangamon County Coroner. They would both appreciate your vote.
contact any relatives left behind to vote Santorum tommorrow and Gingrich delegates in 4th, 5th, 7th, and 13th Congressional districts.
Amazing to think that all three men on that ballot were from Illinois. Reagan was born and raised here. Crane and Anderson were Congressmen.
Actually, I hope turnout is abysmal. Anti-Romney folks turnout better than Establishment types in such cases.
I am going to vote in five minutes, on my way to work ... in Wisconsin, as there is no work around here.
Illinois was a far more conservative state back then. The outer counties could overcome the corrosive power of Chicago, but no more. Sad how things have changed.
Illinois C(r)ook County poll open one hour. Seven early voters in precinct. Two “D” voters, election judges that live in precinct.
My wife and I just voted for Santorum but was a bit surprised to see that Perry was still on the ballot.
My wife said she saw on T.V. last night that you'd need two forms of Id. to vote, which was news to me. We got there and they asked us our names and which ballot we wanted, Republican or democrat. Same as always.
The spot she saw may have been someones attempt to suppress turn out. Who knows? Because if it was to suppress turn out it would have affected rats more so than Republicans.
Brings back memories for me because I had a hand in that
