Biden:Bin Laden killing most 'audacious' plan in 500 years [ Biden- the last forceps delivered baby]

Vice President Joe Biden is the biggest cheerleader of the president's decision to raid Osama bin Laden's compound and, on Monday, he offered new praise for the choice Obama made last spring.

“You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain. We never had more than a 48 percent probability that he was there,” Biden said at a fundraiser in Morris Township, N.J.

“Do any one of you have a doubt that if that raid failed that this guy would be a one-term president?” Biden asked. Obama, he said, “is willing to do the right thing and risk losing.”

When Biden was born they kept the afterbirth and threw away the baby.

So, Obama sent our troops into harms way on less than a 50/50 hunch?

How can anyone listen to this babble? Most audacious plan since 1512 AD? You would need to have no grasp of history to say that with a straight face. Just off the top of my head the raid on Entebbe was significantly less audacious and required less planning and room for error and failure? Theres a Win The Future moment if I have ever heard one.

D-Day? McCarthur at Inchon?

Vs a raid on an undefended house inhabited by women and an old man?

Biden is a joke.

Right. Doolittle's raid over Tokyo was childs' play.

The most audacious plan in the last 500 years??? Really???

Well, what about Jimmy Doolittle’s raid on Tokyo?

What about the Normany invasion??

What about the Marines landing at Inchon??

Just three examples off the top of my head, which were arguably more dangerous, more risky, and more audacious, than the raid which got Bin Laden.

Does Joe Biden really want to go there??????? The raid to get Bin Laden was a great success, but how much can we overstate things???????

Moon Landing, D-Day, Mayflower, Entebee, Dunkirk, Six Day War, Revolutionary War? Don’t get me wrong, it was a great military operation, but to rank it as the greatest plan of the past 500 years is insane.

Does this idiot believe what is coming out of his own pie hole?

Sure, Obama “authorized” the raid. So what? If it failed and the USN SEALS were all killed it would be of no consequence to him. He would have given half hearted condolences to the families and then continued to fill out the brackets over Wagyu beef sammiches.

No sweat.

Makes me shudder to think this brainless idiot is only one heat beat away from the Presidency.

Jumped right over many events, foremost (but not limited to) ... D-day, I would consider that somewhat “audacious”. But that is just me.

Biden meant to compare the great success of Obama’s Stimulus Plan to Operation Market Garden.

Yeah, Joe, you're right... And that whole "Operation Overloard" was a sure thing, from the very first concept.

““Do any one of you have a doubt that if that raid failed that this guy would be a one-term president?” Biden asked.”

Oh, as if! The worshippers who currently make excuses for his abysmal results in every other area would be more than willing to give him a pass for trying but failing to whack Bin Laden.

You would need to have no grasp of history to say that with a straight face.

Which describes Biden to a "T."

Just remember, Joe is always the smartest guy in the room. Seriously, he'll tell you so!

Agreed with all of the examples. And I'm sure that there are literally thousands of more of them. John Paul Jones, George Washington's crossing of the Delaware and attack on Trenton, and so on...

And not to detract a bit from the bravery and skill of our Special Forces, to what end was this adventure? We whacked a semi-retired leader of crazed islamics, who was spending his senior years watching porn. He wasn't exactly a mastermind or evil genius. The one tool in these guys toolboxes is the suicide bombing. They used a one time creative variant during the 9/11 plane suicides, but other than that it is one suicide bombing after another. Rubbing out Bin Laden doesn't change that equation a whit...
Rubbing out the Koran, or attempting to educate those enslaved by this disease that the Koran is a book from satan, would take guts from our leader (even worthy to be compared against 500 years of history), but that is not what our fearless leader attempted. His claim to fame was putting the hit on a geriatric porn addict. Give him another Nobel Prize Medal....
