Yes I wrote in Hector Concepcion. I think I spelled it right. I know I didn’t put in a “t”.

So does this mean he’ll be on the ballot in November?

The judicial races make me sad. At least we have a candidate for Supreme Court. They need divide Cook County into 3 districts rather than have it be one district with 3 seats. That way we could win one like with the BOR.

I’m surprised by the margin whereby Halvorson got killed. LOL.

BTW this Mirlanda girl lost badly to Phelan.

And Serrano lost in my ward to the other guy James A Currire Jr. This surprises me, I thought the Spanish surname would carry the day.

In the 17th ward former Congressional candidate Antoine Members ran and lost.

There's some threshold of votes he needed to get... 5% of all primary voters or something. Can't remember. The party can also slate him (of course, a slated candidate can ALSO be kicked off the ballot just one for who filed)

Yep, I think just about every Cook county Republican noticed about 20+ judicial contests on the primary ballot where "No Candidate" was the Republican choice. That's because all these judges represent Chicago. The good news is every judge in Illinois has to face the voters. The bad news is it means they serve for life in Cook County and run unopposed.

I've been saying for months that junior would win easily thanks to him getting 90% of the vote in the 50% of the district that's black, but the news media kept blathering on about how he was "vulnerable". Apparently not only did they miss him winning huge during the landslide GOP election year of 2010 (when scandals came out about him every week), but they failed to notice that the last decade has shown black Democrats in Chicago will vote for ANY black Democrat no matter how awful they are. (Ugandan dictator Idi Amin would rack up 90%+ of the vote in the Chicago wards if he were alive and running in Crook County). Even the laughably incompetent Todd Stoger won the the RAT primary for Crook County Board President against an equally liberal but qualified non-combine Dem, because the non-combine Dem was white and blacks gave Stroger 90% of their votes in the primary. It wasn't until another black RAT ran against Stroger that he lost.

Junior should celebrate by selling national secrets to China on live TV or perhaps performing satanic sacrifices with children. It doesn't matter, his braindead votes will happily support him next election.

I guess the 71%-29% margin for JJJ was an even bigger blowout that I predicted, given the districts runs through much of Will Co. and even parts of Kankakee Co. now. Must not be a lot of RAT primary voters in those areas because Halvorson won both counties by over 60%. Her fans on facebook were saying "I'm shocked! Are Democrat voters really clueless or something?" I wrote back "Is the Pope Catholic?"

In related news, State Rep. Derrick Smith on the west side of Chicago (I checked to see if there was any overlap with Junior's district -- hoping to locate the epicenter of stupidity in Illinois -- but there's not), won re-nomination handily after he was arrested last week and charged with taking $7000 in kickbacks. I also expect he will win re-election in November easily since it's a safe RAT district in Chicago. Hopefully they can toss him in prison before he's sworn for the next term, though.

Really? Odd. He probably lost to a combiner plant who works for the Dems. It's hard to find Republicans out there to vote because they probably only make up 2% of primary voters, but the ward bosses know exactly who to find if they need Dems to crossover and pull a GOP ballot to nominate a plant in the GOP primary. Oddly enough, his wife Tonia Members won for delegate, but of course, she's running as Romney delegate

Hector will be the nominee, if he got at least 600 write-in votes.
