I'm sure he does. But foreign events are out of his incompetent hands, thankfully. He clearly is enraged by foreign affairs over which he has no control. LOL!
I heard this “speech” on Rush’s show yesterday.
Unreal. Everything is a joke, right? It’s all funny stuff. We’ll see how funny he thinks it is come NOV.
I wonder how narcissists handle national-level rejection?
I am looking forward to the day when this arrogant political THUG is given a thorough and humiliating defeat at the polls in particular and life in general. I pray every day for his defeat in November and that the Lord would replace Obama and his cronies with Godly people at every level of government.
Speaking of lies, I was watching CSI online last night because I missed the airing on Thursday. I was bombarded at every break with a commercial about how zero has decreased the reliance on foreign oil and was directed to some website entitled “The Truth about Drilling” or something like that.
I didn’t go to the website, but it’s obvious that the reason “dependence” on foreign oil is down is because people are driving less since the cost of gasoline has risen! Duh! And zero is bragging about it.
Obama's Simply Not Telling the Truth About Domestic Oil Drilling
by Roger Hedgecock
04/08/2011
Now Obama is posing as the driller-in-chief.
Stung by the savvy American consumer connecting the dots between gas price pain at the pump and Obama's repeated moratoria on oil drilling, the President did what he's done so many times. He told us his words speak louder than his actions.
In his March 30 energy speech, Obama said he supports more domestic oil drilling, and, under his leadership, domestic oil drilling is at an all-time high, but the U.S. only has 2% of the world's oil, and anyway it's the oil companies' fault because they are sitting on a zillion offshore leases that they refuse to drill.
Nonsense. All of ita pure head fake.
Obama has shut down, shut off, and canceled more oil drilling than any President since Carter.
After the BP oil spill last year, Obama shut down all offshore oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, idling 78,000 jobs and cutting off billions of dollars of tax revenue to state and local governments in the Gulf Coast region.
After U.S. District Judge Martin Feldman found the Gulf moratorium without factual basis, Obama lifted it, granted no permits, then reinstated the same moratorium. The same judge then found the second moratorium illegal and held the administration in contempt of court for ignoring the first order.
Seven drilling rigs have left the Gulf for friendlier waters.
Obama also reversed the Bush plan to sell leases off the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and around Alaska, even rescinding leases already granted and paid for in Alaskan waters.
It's not just oil drilling that Obama opposes. His actions say he opposes all energy development.
A recent study by the American Consumer Institute concludes that coal, natural gas, nuclear, transmission infrastructure, and even renewables were among 351 energy projects delayed or canceled by Obama. These projects represented 1.9 million jobs and an investment of $1.1 trillion.
Record drilling under Obama?
Domestic oil production increased until the BP spill because of Bush's pro-drilling policy. In 2011, the Energy Information Administration estimates, the U.S. has seen a decline in production of 220,000 barrels a day, and it projects a reduction of 150 million barrels in 2012 from the Gulf.
Two per cent of the world's oil?
The figure comes from an Energy Information Administration estimate of world proven reserves already being drilled. The 2% statement ignores federal estimates of likely reserves in the U.S. (placed off limits by Obama) that total more than three times Saudi Arabia's reserves.
Oil companies sitting on existing leases? If oil companies are not drilling on federal leases for which they have already paid a fortune, it's because exploratory wells have not hit oil, or because they have and it has taken years to get a federal permit for production wells.
Obama's proposed tax on leases "where they aren't producing a thing" would tax companies for not using a lease the feds have not yet allowed them to use.
If you think actions speak louder than words, Obama's actions betray a pattern of anti-energy moves that have driven up prices for every American consumer, increased our dependence on unreliable foreign energy sources, and aborted scarce jobs in this "recovery."
If you believe the words of the presidential teleprompter, you'll have to shut your lyin' eyes.
More evidence of panic and an impending crack-up
No new big drilling rush in Alaska.
Years ago all the heavy equipment was being shipped north during the winter, nothing has gone by at all.
Empty roads, no convoys of drill pipe or equipment, they only haul in the winter.
Obama is lying as usual.
Yes, we’re drilling all over the country, on private land, where Obama cannot stop the drilling.
And then end the spot with a chorus asking "Do you know where Obama's drilling?" (while scratching their heads.)
Just very simple and straightforward.
Play it over and over again.
It assumes that Americans want to drill, and it exposes Obama for the fraud and liar on the issue that he is.
It shows a country UNITED on our energy crisis concerns...and united against him...in a subtly mocking manner.
I watched this clip on Fox this morning. He tells these lies and the hand picked audience claps like trained seals. I can’t believe anyone with an ounce of brain really believes the bovine excrement that comes out of his mouth.
Obama and the rest of the Commie left, "honestly" believe very little of what they say publicly. They are more bigoted and greedy than anyone else. What they're after is personal power. They honestly believe (in private) that they're much smarter than everyone else and so 'deserve' to be in positions of great power while living large off the backs of the working people, whom they 'claim' to be devoted to. In short, don't think they 'honestly' believe everything they say.
Shameless self-bump
” We’re drilling all over this country.”
We?? Mr. President, “WE” killed a bear ...uh.... but Daddy shot him. PRIVATE companies, leasing land from PRIVATE citizens, using their own money and technology developed in the PRIVATE sector are drilling.
YOU ain’t doin’ jack, Jack.
If we are drilling all over this country, then why is Idi Obama releasing strategic oil reserves?
It's part of his leveling, "aw shucks" style, which lets him say he's smart, and his audience is smart for going along with his humor. I think it's rather effective (alas).
Once again the alinsky mocking.
Let’s start pointing out the tactics.
All of this and much more, yet the GOP-e, MSM-including Fox news, are doing their best to help Obama win another 4 years.

(snip)
Barack Obama is a clever fellow who imbibed hatred of America with his mother's milk, but worked his way up the elite ladder of education and career. He shares the resentment of Muslims against the encroachment of American culture, although not their religion. He has the empathetic skill set of an anthropologist who lives with his subjects, learns their language, and elicits their hopes and fears while remaining at emotional distance. That is, he is the political equivalent of a sociopath. The difference is that he is practicing not on a primitive tribe but on the population of the United States.
There is nothing mysterious about Obama's methods. "A demagogue tries to sound as stupid as his audience so that they will think they are as clever as he is," wrote Karl Krauss. Americans are the world's biggest suckers, and laugh at this weakness in their popular culture. Listening to Obama speak, Sinclair Lewis' cynical tent-revivalist Elmer Gantry comes to mind, or, even better, Tyrone Power's portrayal of a carnival mentalist in the 1947 film noire Nightmare Alley. The latter is available for instant viewing at Netflix, and highly recommended as an antidote to having felt uplifted by an Obama speech. ..."
