TransCanada Corp.s Keystone XL pipeline, which would carry oil from landlocked Alberta to the U.S. Gulf Coast, is a no-brainer that would create jobs and bolster the economy, former President George W. Bush said on Tuesday.
The $7.6 billion Keystone XL line would generate private-sector employment and government revenue, he said at an American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers conference in San Diego. The U.S. governments budget deficit is unsustainable and must be reduced by supporting industry, Bush said.
The clear goal ought to be how to get the private sector to grow, said Bush, who spoke during a luncheon at the conference. If you say that, then an issue like the Keystone pipeline becomes an easy issue.

Thanks for the remarkably short post. I enjoyed it for a change, even though it revealed once again your very thin skin.....
God bless President Bush. He is still DOING good, making a positive difference in this world. I hope you grow to recognize that some day, nathan.
I find it fascinating that, because I don't consider you great, I didn't fall for your pomposity, that I haven't flattered you as others do, that I have said things that hurt your tender feelings and that, when you returned fire with extreme (and ridiculous) rhetoric about me, I didn't crumble....that you equate those things with lack of 'character.'
And from that, I can only conclude that your lack of ability to understand what does, and what does not constitute 'character,' is part of why you have such disdain for President George W. Bush, who has it in spades.
Those who disagree with the great nathanbedford lack 'character'....according to the great nathanbedford. Fascinating.
Good luck to you, and your courageous, ubiquitous avatar, nathan. :)
I have not thought, even for a milisecond, that you lack character (as you have stated you believe I do).
I am able to withstand insults, even egregious ones like yours, from those who disagree with me, and understand that it has nothing to do with a lack of character on their part.
There is nothing I've said to you that indicates, nor even remotely implies that I lack 'character,' as you have stated here. It's an off-the-wall, out of bounds personal attack on me, and you are dead wrong.
But I do not return the insult to you. I do not believe that disagreeing with someone politically is an indication that others are inferior to me morally, nor that words of disagreement, no matter how strong, reveal character issues.
Now, lest I become as wordy as you, I will cease and desist.
Please forgive me.
Done, and without any reservation.
Nathan
Thank you very much, Nathan.
That chart is going to look awesome come July...
