Even though Romney remains well ahead in the delegate count and even though he'll still likely win the nomination, he just can't put those nagging doubts among conservatives to rest. They're not doubts. They're certainties.

This is a tough call. Romney’s problem is that he’s Romney.
But you have to love the hypocrisy of Paul Begala inserting class warfare... As Obama flies off to a b ball game to the tune of $500k, invoiced to the taxpayers.

Romney is learning the hard way. He can connive and cheat and manipulate to accumulate delegates but he cannot make voters like him.
The Presidency is not the takeover of a company. He can't fire the conservative voters after getting the nomination (though I don't doubt for a moment that he has pondered such action).
Honestly, he treats the American voters like they oppose him in a hostile takeover. He "won't let those darned voters stand in his way to victory."

The problem is that he’s winning the populations centers that will go to Obama in the general election. The chances of him winning all the areas he’s losing and then some in the general election are slim to none.

Biggest problem? He’s a liberal trying to run as a conservative—and many people have sniffed him out.

It is amazing that guys like Rove backed a candidate who competes with Obama for the very same liberal voters. One would think the would see the idiocy of such a strategy.
Obama will utterly destroy Romney...and Romney will just stand there and smile.

They'll do what RINOs always do. Say "we told you so" and blame conservatives for the loss.

wouldn't make any sense at all.""
