The New York Times bestselling author of the explosive new book, Hollywood Hypocrites: The Devastating Truth About Obamas Biggest Backers, Jason Mattera, had his crews camera snatched and hurled by comedian Chris Rock when he asked the star why he has called the Tea Party racist (video below).
I was stunned, said Mr. Mattera in an exclusive interview with Big Hollywood. Tea Party members get called the worst things imaginable and still remain peaceful. But ask a big Hollywood celebrity to explain himself and the guy goes ballistic, wrestles the camera away from my camerawoman, chucks it 50 feet, and then challenges me to a fight. Its unreal. And it perfectly illustrates why I decided to investigate and writeHollywood Hypocrites.
The confrontation, which took place around 2:00 a.m. on January 23, 2012, at Spike Lees Sundance Film Festival after party at Tao night club, ended with Chris Rock challenging the conservative author to a fight, says Mr. Mattera:
Chris Rock shouted, You want to throw down? Lets throw down right now! Of course, he was standing safely behind two bodyguards when he said it.
The clash was ignited when Jason Mattera inquired about disparaging comments Chris Rock made about the Tea Party in an Esquire article in 2011:
When I see the Tea Party and all this stuff, it actually feels like racism's almost over. Because this is the last this is the act up before the sleep. They're going crazy. They're insane. You want to get rid of them and the next thing you know, they're fucking knocked out. And that's what's going on in the country right now.
Jason Mattera says his confrontation with Chris Rock is just the opening salvo in a series of forthcoming ambush celebrity interviews with some of the big name

Right you are. Using “tea-bagging” as a pejorative is gay bashing. Haters.
Century City exists to make sure that Hollywood clebes pay only 15% in taxes.
All as the cry for me to pay 30%.
I'm betting liberals killed Andrew Breitbart... we'll know soon - elite liberals are the haters - they are the bullies.
Excellent idea.
And I can guarantee you that if Breitbart was killed and it became common knowledge, MANY Democrats and other people on the left would have no problem at all with that fact. The tolerant, peaceful people are completely ate up with hate and violence. They get more and more aggressive every day.
Sounds like Chris is hanging out with the militants.
I agree with you. It's especially sad because Andrew had young children. I don't know why that should matter more, but it does - it's somehow a deeper evil.
OK, I give up. Can anybody decipher this gibberish? It makes no sense. "Last act up before the sleep"? "knocked out"?? What does that mean? It's some kind of word-salad. There's real words in there but they're apparently in the wrong order.
This is actually another language: 'Obamazoid'.
Let me tranlate: they're f***ing knocked out. And that's what's going on in the country right now.
They are annoying me and I hate whitey.
Having spent years on FR reading articles about hateful spew from the left, I am somewhat fluent in Ignoramus so maybe I can help. I think what he is trying to say in this garbled English-like language is that the Tea Party is made of racists and this is the last act. The Tea Party tried to make one final stand. One last hurrah, but it failed. Now, the conservative right is going to be overwhelmed and snuffed out by the left. Maybe there are some other Ignoramusese majors out there that can verify or dispute my translation.
It bothers me too because Andrew Breitbart was such a good person. I know not in their eyes, but a normal person could tell that he was very decent. I didn't know him personally, but I still feel sad and shocked about his passing. I liked him because he was of my generation. Liked 80's music. Approached things in a modern way and was full of energy. There's a big void there now.

You're right - a normal person - a good person - can easily see he was a decent man. Thanks for sharing.
