Third female lawmaker introduces bill to limit mens Viagra access By Liz Goodwin | The Lookout 3 hrs ago
Democratic Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner is the third female lawmaker to introduce a bill that would limit men's access to Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs to make a statement about the dozens of anti-abortion bills that have passed statehouses around the country over the last year.
Turner is opposed to a proposed bill that would prohibit abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected, which can happen as early as six weeks into a pregnancy. The Dayton Daily News reports that Turner's bill would mandate that men seeking Viagra be "tested for heart problems, receive counseling about possible side effects and receive information about 'pursuing celibacy as a viable lifestyle choice.'"
Turner said on MSNBC Monday that the bill is about showing "men as much love in the reproductive health arena as they have shown us over the years. My Senate Bill 307 is all about the love and making sure we look out for men's sexual health."
Rep. Lynn Wachtmann, the heartbeat bill's sponsor, told the Dayton Daily News that the comparison between Viagra and abortions isn't valid.
Turner is one of several female Democratic state lawmakers who are wielding the power of sarcasm to protest a wave of anti-abortion legislation.

The Democrats’ War on Men continues....
Just like birth control, the government and insurance should get out of the business of either one. Buy your own.
Her effort is facing stiff resistance so far.
Barney Frank has pledged to help ram the bill through.
This is the level of intelligence of these women that equate slaughtering babies to an erection. I was taught to never argue with a fool.........
Democrat law maker gets tired of playing God. Figures she’ll play doctor for awhile. These people are truly absent a soul.

Doctors are already doing the first two things (test for heart problems, info about side effects). They could flash their patients a picture of one of these female Democrat lawmakers to make them give celibacy serious consideration.
The U.S. has 978,426 laws and regulations.
Why do we need all these overpaid, "Lawmakers"?
They are missing the whole point, though I suspect that is deliberate. It was about forcing religious institutions to cover abortion and birth control.
Sometimes women are so stupid I’m almost embarrassed to be one.
The female equivalent of Viagra is more like clitorectomy reversal.
The moment this gal can document a male organ that has its own independent genetic code (including different X or Y chromosomes than its “host”) and its own heartrate, and that will, with only basic nutrition provided, become an independent and autonomous human being.... THEN she can talk about that male organ being equivalent to a conceived child with a heartbeat. Until then, these gals are just an embarrassment to humanity.
I don’t want to subsidize Viagra either. Let people pay for their own sexual and contraceptive helpers. Anything is better than militant feminists having hissy fits about the medication their lovers need.
From the looks of Turner you’d think she’d be in favor of easy access to V.
To equalize the argument, they should be writing bills that give us FREE Viagra.
After all, we don't object to contraception, we object to paying for yours.
Turner: My reptile’s dysfunction is none of your business.
Go get a real job!
This lesbian or feminist _____tch is rather confused. Contraception stops the proper functioning of sex organs. Viagra allows fo the proper functioning of sex organs in men and women. But, of course, this isn’t about reproduction or medical necessity. It is about liberating women from the construct that nature created for them.
I hear ya, but as time goes on these morons actually think our silence is due to their obvious superiority!
They think we are stunned speechless by their brilliance.
