Part of me hopes this sort of obnoxious leftwing crap is just the single last straw, which causes Governor Palin to look at Todd meaningfully looking out at the Alaska landscape, as he nods knowingly, and says finally...

“OK if you insist... Bring it.”

She’ll clean his clock!

Our side could not possibly, in any circumstance imaginable, be more motivated for a contest than that would mean.

I really, really hope that happens.

They’re poking the grizzly bear. Poke. Poke. Poke.

Meet political whore, Julianna Smoot...

Tell me she didn’t know about John Edwards while she was working for him!

Julianna Smoot is the Deputy Manager of Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential reelection campaign having previously served as White House Social Secretary, Deputy Assistant to the President., and Chief of Staff to United States Trade Representative Ron Kirk. Smoot previously served as a professional fundraiser for the Democratic Party. She was the national finance director for the presidential campaign of Barack Obama.

Under Smoot’s direction, the campaign raised $32.5 million during the second quarter of 2007 and by election day, more money than any campaign in American history. She was named Social Secretary after her predecessor, Desiree Rogers resigned on February 26, 2010.

Smoot was born in North Carolina. She graduated from Smith College in 1989. Smoot served as finance director for then Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle and as finance director for Senator John Edwards’s Senate race in 1998. She has also held positions with Senator Richard Durbin of Illinois and Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia.

During the 2006 election cycle, she served as finance director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Smoot was, according to a press report, declared “MVP for the first fundraising quarter” due to her success in raising money for the Obama presidential campaign in 2007.

Still, if a bunch of amateur part-time rioters encounter highly motivated veterans defending their homes, wives, and children -- I know who is going to lose that one.

Thanks for the eye-opening anecdote. Interestingly enough, many of the Koreans in the picture you posted had gone through 2-1/2 years of military training as draftees, and some were ex-professional military in the South Korean armed forces.

So what happens if 2 million Tea Party people show up with their Gadsden flags and Sarah Palin signs at the REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION, August 27-30, 2012 in Tampa, Florida?

The meltdown could happen if someone would go after him personally. Make it personal, make it about him. There’s plenty of true stuff, but lie, make up stuff too. Made-up accusations could probably get his goat even quicker.

I keep hearing about the “issues”. Let’s discuss the “issues”. This of course is from intelligent mature adults for whom the issues are the most important thing. He isn’t intelligent or mature, just clever about how he gets his way (narcissistic supply of praise and adoration). Sarah kicked him in the ‘nads with ridicule in her convention speech. He was off his game for two weeks after that. Make it personal, make it hurt, and he’ll meltdown.

I can't believe she's not aware that, even at this late date, that she could (and would) rally more Americans to her side than any other candidate running, and would blow into DC with a virtual tsunami of support at her back.

Part of me still hopes beyond all hope that somehow, that can still happen.
