All right. Good for him.

Not too good for any hero.
There were sleeping women and children killed at 3am in their own homes. And now they might hate us even more for our freedoms.

You ever notice when lots of civilians are killed by airstrikes no one ever gets prosecuted?

Your POTUS has set policies that get our troops murdered and he apologizes to the enemy.

Your POTUS cares not one damn bit for our troops, or for you for that matter.

He is setting the stage for millions of people to die.

And I keep asking myself, “Just what is it WE OWE the Afghanistanicans?”

NOT ONE THING.

You don’t like that a soldier just can’t take the BS anymore?

Then march on the White Hut and DEMAND they all be brought home.

NOW.

You'll never hear a peep of criticism from me over an episode like where a U.S. soldier does something like what has apparently been done here.

From my profile page, regarding an incident in which several U.S. soldiers allegedly killed an "unarmed civilian" in Iraq a few years ago:

"The fact of the matter is that war changes men's natures. The barbarities of war are seldom committed by abnormal men. The tragedy of war is that these horrors are committed by normal men in abnormal situations; situations in which the ebb and flow of everyday life have departed and have been replaced by a constant round of fear and anger, blood and death. Soldiers at war are not to be judged by civilian rules, even though they commit acts which calmly viewed afterwards could only be seen as un-Christian and brutal . . . [W]e can not hope to judge such matters unless we ourselves have been submitted to the same pressures, the same provocations, as these men, whose actions are on trial." --- Major J.F. Thomas (Jack Thompson), Breaker Morant

The next time we send U.S. soldiers overseas for a decades-long military campaign, let Sasha and Malia Obama land on the first helicopter ... and let Barbara and Jenna Bush pilot the damn thing.

Anyone out there remember this young man?

He is getting close to that five year mark in the Leavenworth USDB.

I have NEVER STOPPED my efforts to help in his release.

I NEVER WILL.
