Thomas Sowell explains why Gingrich is the best to take on Obama
(Excerpt) Read more at video.foxbusiness.com ...
I carefully explained my rationale for choosing Santorum over Gingrich and you call it bitchery? I thought I was pretty fair.
Did I forget to mention that Newt’s policies will be socially AND fiscally conservative. Sound, responsible fiscal conservatism combined with strong social conservatism, add in the right dose of libertarianism - cannot beat that!!
Of course you’d think so! You probably can’t even see how silly you sound.
Get over it already. He’s a 68-year-old grandad now, happily married (enfin!) for years and years, and no chance to see him running after another woman.
That’s a vacuous explanation, if ever was one. Besides, I really don’t see what has that to do with his political curriculum and experience. Are you looking for electing a saint, or a competent president?
“choosing Santorum”
So you’re choosing Santorum because he has been s...g the same woman for 22 years? Some relevance.
When and of what was ever Santorum a leader? Just one senator among 100 other senators... He was trashed in his reelection bid with 41 to 59. That’s a credential?
He was one of the biggest spender of federal (taxpayers’) money in the Senate. That’s a credential?
He was one of the biggest link to lobbyists in the Senate. That’s a credential?
Give me a break.
Your remark regarding Santorum’s marriage is offensive.
Well, it was on the list, and I left it there, whatever that means :)
The robo calls here in Alabama have been treacherous against Newt. He will be here in SE AL (Dothan) at 4 pm today. I am excited, hope he draws a crowd
I haven’t brought up the marriage item, the other poster did. So there.
If you don’t like talking about marriages, don’t insert them in a political discussion. Period.
That is how the GOP establishment tests the waters regarding just how liberal a Republican candidate they can shove down our throats.
Our best answer to such a question is, “None of your business. I’ll vote for the candidate that best represents my interests, regardless of the party.”
maybe a little from column a, and a little from column b.
Dole was horrible.....but Gingrich was no angel...lets not kid ourselves...the left played the shutting down of govt for all it was worth and it had legs....because the Repubes mishandled it...
Newt is probably our # choice unless we have a brokered convention and we can chose someone else beside the current crop.....someone perhaps who used to be governor of Alaska....
I don't see Reagan in any of them...
M’eh Romney never gave up smearing his opponents. Slam down the phone and don’t listen to the robocalls. That’s what I’m doing.
Your remark was crude and unnecessary. Blaming it on the other poster is egregious.
I dont give a rats patootie about newts so called baggage

I’m curious if you were always from the UK? My Southern parents and relatives used to always say rat’s patootie.
WHEN will you (plural) stop talking about Newt’s private life? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
Don’t throw in my face the argument that Santorum is electable, just because he was married once. It’s simply IRRELEVANT.
It’s your mouse...go get a Log-tech mouse....I just replaced mine for the very same issues....went with another brand but am taking it back for the Log-tech.
Totally agree with you.
Great clip, Marguerite! Short and true.
Newt focusing on DRILLING.
