Yep! I don’t remember how many months ago he laid this out and what show it was but it is spot on. He said Obama’s schedule becomes my schedule. He speaks and I arrive and rebut the whole thing. The process carries on until the election. Beuatiful

Prof. Sowell writes:“Does Gingrich have political “baggage”? More than you could carry on a commercial airliner.”

Which isn't necessarily very much. The good Professor is pulling your leg, Steelfish.

Airline Carry-On Luggage Regulations

In order to keep the passenger compartment uncluttered and safe, the airlines place rules and size limits on the luggage that each traveler can carry on the plane. The primary rule is the size limit stating that bags carried on board must be small enough to store below your seat or in the overhead compartment. Currently the basic rule is that carry on baggage must be no taller than 22 inches, no wider than 14 inches, and no deeper than 9 inches.

Well then maybe the GOP can get rid of caucus’. I guess saving money is better than being accurate.

Good post, Smooth.

Steelfish tends to spam any thread regardinging Newt and is not particular about posting the entire truth. Such are some posters, I guess.

Thanks for the headsup, Jaz.

That being the case, I'll waste no more time with him/her.

BTW, Jaz, check out this thread. Our buddy W04Man hit a homerun!

But what good is that if the baggage is so heavy it could bring down the airliner with you and all of us on board?

So much of what you think you know just isn't so. You want this baggage to be so much worse than it really is cause you like Santorum. Newt's so called “Baggage” is moot. Rick is a nice guy, but we need a battle scared worrior to send in to the battle.

If Newt is the nominee I’d enthusiastically vote for him. But what Sowell and the rest of us worry is that he is unelectable for reasons of baggage and what the internal polls show. In Ohio 48% of primary Republican voters would be dissatisfied to see Gingrich as the nominee and as we all know Ohio is a bellweather state. Without the independents breaking our way, we cannot beat Obama.

I know. I have admired Newt for many years. I knew he was brilliant and it made me so sad to see how the media unjustly crucified him for years. The left and the establishment is scared to death of him. I will also support Rick if he ends up the one, but I will be sad to see Rick try to debate Obama, and it will be sad to see the media crucify him like they did Newt. Newt is a tough grizzly guy, he can take it, don't know if Rick can.

Newt is a brilliant and complex man, and that worries me.

Excellent...W04Man is walking the walk!

Not surprising Tom Hanks would not take a brochure. He pulled the wool over a lot of peoples eyes regarding our military many years ago but his leftism caught up with him and the truth came out.

No metaphor will ever entice me to vote for a butt licking RINO POS like Romney.

Have a nice day!

Admittedly, things don’t look good for us the Newt supporters, so what are we going to do? Hold our noses again come November and vote for the Bishop or for the Catholic liar because he chooses Herman or Michelle as his running mate to jet to foreign funerals? Sam Goldwyn and the cat say: “Include me out!”

Obama will never debate Newt, but the fact that he would chicken out might make many people think.

Compared to Newt, Zero is like a Forrest Gump character.

I have looked at every sowell video on YouTube that is available.

to say he is a mountain of genius and intellect is probably an insult.

Sowell is a MASTER.

I wish Sowell was president!

Well, there’s a value in the caucus process as opposed to the primary process - but that value is perverted when people treat caucus results the same as primary results - and they do, including the wizards in the media like Faux News.

Probably 50 years ago, the nation was not full of a bunch of mathematical illiterates the way it is now. Also, those not really interested with the process didn’t have easy access like we do now - with the internet and cable, etc.

In those days, no one who cared enough to follow would confuse a caucus with vote totals in the thousands with a primary with vote totals in hundreds of thousands. But in our News McNugget world, where a “state is a state” - that confusion runs rampant.

It ends up screwing up both the value of a caucus and the value of a high turnout primary by treating them the same, which they are not. One thing that irritates me about RS is that he knows better, but he has pushed that “state is a state” mentality for his own purposes.

Smart strategy I guess, but I remain offended at the intellectual dishonesty of it and really amazed that so many have fallen for it.

“If he can win the nomination, he can beat Obama.”

Not a doubt in my mind. He has both the ability AND the cojones to fully expose BHO to the public for the anti-American liar he is.
