GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) -- Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich says a new ABC television series is evidence that the entertainment industry harbors anti-Christian bias.
Gingrich is criticizing the comedy-drama "GCB," which has also been called "Good Christian Belles."

He needed “Good Christian Bitches/Belles” to prove that?
ya think?
This silly show was believed to have needed the nominal church membership of its “ladies” in order to sound a little more sizzling. But the writers, AFAIK, don’t actually work anything about Christianity into the story other than identifying the “belles” as churchgoers. It’s just an idiotic story that is outclassed by just about any actual soap opera.
Newt tells it again, he’s the message king no doubt about it.
I read that the NY Times had an ad today urging people to leave the Catholic Church. Betcha you’ll never see an ad urging people to leave any other religion.
AP hiding the offense again by removing Bitches from the lede.
This is a first for modern times, except for atheistic ads which are equal opportunity scoffers focusing on no particular religious following.
Guest lineups for the Sunday TV news shows, March 11th:
ABC’s “This Week” - Sens. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
NBC’s “Meet the Press” - Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum; Govs. Bob McDonnell, R-Va., and Martin O’Malley, D-Md.; Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn.
CBS’ “Face the Nation” - Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich; Robert Gibbs, adviser to President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign;
CNN’s “State of the Union” - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.
“Fox News Sunday” - Gingrich; Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
Haha, coward Mittsky is skipping the Sunday shows again?
Here’s Newt on Greta last night talking about a floor fight at the convention. Only thing that worries me is him thinking there’s any chance “Iran” Paul would join up with him and Rick instead of Mittsky. He needs to come up with a strategy that rules that unlikelihood out.

It might be anti Christian but Kristin Chenoweth is hot!
Based on the premiere rating, it won’t be on TV long enough to matter.
It drew just over 7 million, which is low for a network premiere.
Based on comments in FR related threads and entertainment websites, it didn’t grab the audience. Many stated they watched a few minutes and turned it off — out of boredom.
Yes, it’s definitely a first. I didn’t see the ad myself, so I don’t know exactly what it said.
come after you. Every little increment the communist's do
to our society will be hard to undo. Go, Newt.
Religion or church?
“Is there a Kristin Chenoweth rule?”
Only in the ones where she wears a bikin!
She’s a big Obama lib I heard.
I would love to see Newt/West kick political correctness to the curb day one.
>> “GCB,” which has also been called “Good Christian Belles.”
And GFY means “Go Fluke Yourself”. /s
